Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

Good morning. Jake banged on the door a lot, but I didn’t let him in. Nuisance cat.

I need to sort pills, too, and go to Walmart. I keep telling the people to put things on the list, but they ignore me. I warned DP that I could abandon meal prep if I get any more negative feedback from people who won’t come up with any suggestions.

Good morning. Happy Friday Eve!

The Princess decided she only needed to do one this morning. Unfortunately, that meant a lot of time out there “making sure”. Fortunately, I get up a little earlier than absolutely necessary so those things don’t make me too late for my day.

Is it time for another round of Wordolf? Should we have a “spring-y” course like https://www.springcreekgolfclub.com/the-course? I couldn’t tell if there are hole-by-hole videos.

Today was not a Wordolf day for me. I guess, with so many options, I was lucky to get a 4.

Good morning. Jake spewed, but at least he uses the box or goes outside to the garden.

Sounds like a tough thing to go through. Fortunately, Mrs. ArGee’s parents aren’t hurting themselves.

Yet.

Good Morning!

The sun has made its exit until Monday it appears... it will be cloudy, but it looks like the rain will hold off until after the second memorial service tomorrow evening... 🀞🏻

I would be up for another round of Wordolf once things settle down a bit next week... Pretty good setup this morning...

Jake is a nuisance, thinking if he bangs on your door once, he’ll be let in every time he does it.

If someone said something would be good for supper, I usually made an effort to see that s/he got it by at least the next day. But if yours don’t suggest what they want, then they have no right to complain. Yours are all old enough to talk so they need to tell you what they want or sit down and be quiet.

And good for you for stating the obvious — abandoning meal prep for lack of ideas from others. Or worse, negative feedback. Stick to your guns!

You guys are so nice.

If I didn’t get suggestions but got complaints, I’d make the thing they hate most (that I don’t mind eating) until they start being helpful.

It's called "survival." In a family of six, there were only two that were smaller than I was, so we were out-numbered, even if the odds were even. Those three were BIG!

So I was nice to them.

She tried to peel off the bandaging a few times.

We know from experience that adding anything on top just further agitates her and makes her more determined to rip everything off.

Finally figured out that calling the advice nurse at hospice for guidance would be the smart thing to do (asking for help doesn’t come naturally to me).

She referred us to the comfort pack, suggested a minimal dose of Lorazepam and morphine. The Lorazepam for anxiety and agitation, and the morphine for any residual pain.

We gave her one pill, and throttled the morphine back from the original “minimum” 0.25 ml to about 0.06 ml as mom is ‘opiate naΓ―ve’, the nurse agreed.

She seems to be sleeping well every time we checked, reveille is a bit over an hour away, we’ll see...

It looks like we’re going to have a mix of snow and rain this morning. I’m glad I’m not commuting into St George! Folks are crazy on dry days, so I wouldn’t want to be driving today!

No sunshine until Sunday....

Mom isn't normally either, this strange thing on her hand is just wrong to her.
