Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

That LOOKS like my old cat, but he’s a commie and addicted to handouts. Couldn’t possibly be him.

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two...

Facing down this long par 5 6th hole, I got every bit of the ball out of my tee shot, and came to rest at mid-fairway abreast of the nearest of the bunkers flanking the left of the lower fairway. With the elevation change nearing 40ft, the loft to the upper fairway definitely cut into the distance on my second shot. I swung a 5 iron, risking hitting the ball too low in order to advance as far as possible, and got about 160yd farther along, to set up a lie about 110-120yd from the pin. I drew a 7 iron, looking to make the green and set up a short Birdie putt, and stood in stunned amazement as the ball found the green, bounced, hopped, and then rolled as though on rails right to the cup for an Eagle.

Walking on air to the 7th tee at 2 under par, with 23 strokes on the round.

A Whale of a Tale
Written by: Norman Gimbel, Al Hoffman

From 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. 1954
Performed by Kirk Douglas

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
‘Bout the flappin’ fish and the girls I’ve loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it’s all true
I swear by my tattoo

There was Mermaid Minnie, met her down in Madagaskar
She would kiss me, any time that I would ask her
Then one evening her flame of love blew out
Blow me down and pick me up!
She swapped me for a trout

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
‘Bout the flappin’ fish and the girls I’ve loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it’s all true
I swear by my tattoo

There was Typhoon Tessie, met her on the coast of Java
When we kissed I bubbled up like molten lava
Then she gave me the scare of my young life
Blow me down and pick me up!
She was the captain’s wife

Got a whale of a tale to tell ya, lads
A whale of a tale or two
‘Bout the flappin’ fish and the girls I’ve loved
On nights like this with the moon above
A whale of a tale and it’s all true
I swear by my tattoo

Kirk Douglas wasn’t that great of a singer, but I know of two LITTLE girls who had the song memorized before the movie was over!

Good morning. Happy Twosday.

Yesterday was quiet, which was good. It was also a little warmer, as previewed by the rain we had all Sunday. But it’s back to December now.

I’m not at all consistent with Wordle.

Good morning. It’s Trash Day here. I dreamed we put up a Christmas tree and got a kitten. That was so stupid of us.

Vlad and Frank are planning to see “the new Godzilla movie” today, after Vlad’s orthodontist appointment.

“all the other controls would be too confusing for him”

LOL! I can relate. A simple round thermostat that dials right or left works just fine.

What a pretty floof!

Good morning. I hope Jake allowed you to have a good night.

Trisha is taking me into “The City” to look for a vehicle today. There may not be anything available in my price range, but at least I can say, “I looked for a vehicle!”

Other than that, there is nothing planned for this day. Hopefully, we’ll be back before noon. I feel a relapse coming on, and I’m hoping its mild. I still need to decorate the tree.
