We live in a world where certain things are considered "normal" and others are considered "weird." One such topic that often stirs up controversy is the preference for dogs. In a world where dogs are often regarded as man's best friend, it is not uncommon for individuals to find themselves questioning their own preferences when it comes to these furry companions. The truth is, not everyone shares the same fondness for dogs, and that's perfectly okay.

I love dogs but they don’t belong in restaurants (inside or out), breweries, pubs and taverns, airlines and everywhere else unless it’s an actual SERVICE dog not some emotional support animal for pussified people.

Not worth it IMO. Now my wife loves dogs, that’s why we have one with all of the above. Happy wife, happy life.
I don’t really LIKE cats, but I’ve always HAD cats, living on farms. People drop them off, or give them to me.
I LOVE dogs, but we raise Treeing Walker Coon Hounds and Plott Hounds and they are a lot of work.
My best dog ever was a Basset Hound, Rufus. 15 years old - never sick a day in his life. Had a stroke at 15 and that was all she wrote. :( I’ve had two since, Foster Dogs, sisters.
Not sure if I have it in me to raise one more at this time in my life. They are a stubborn breed, LOL!

Dogs are wonderful. Cats, otoh .. I’m not saying I dislike them or anything, but if some Hitler type were to exterminate them in the Holocaust 2: Electric Boogaloo, I wouldn’t be too upset.
