CNN Forgets Who the President Is in Story About Crushing Inflation

Reality has been pretty harsh to the presstitutes at CNN who’ve made it a point of shoving “Bidenomics” down the American people’s throats regardless of how foolish they look doing so.

CNN Reporter Matt Egan ran an Aug. 11 story that completely undercut much of his network’s propaganda narrative on Bidenomics. CNN had been selling President Joe Biden’s atrocious economic policy as some kind of stroke of genius for months, but Egan's own headline undermined his employer's sales pitch: “US inflation means families are spending $709 more per month than two years ago." Specifically, said Egan, the “typical American household” is paying hundreds of dollars more for the same goods and services compared to two years ago. “That figure underscores the cumulative impact high inflation has had on consumer finances.” But here’s the damning bit: The terms “Biden,” “president” and “White House” don’t appear once in Egan’s entire story. Did CNN forget who the current president overseeing this economy is?

While the second Covid stimulus and the infrastructure bill, and the inflation reduction act were Joes fault…the first Covid bill and the halts to rent and student loans were under Trump.

The infrastructure and inflation reduction acts won’t really hit the economy until lates this year and into next. That should pump stuff up going into the election.

But, without a change in oil prices…it’s just as likely to drive more inflation over the next years.

We are far from out of the woods. We may be at the end of the beginning.

Milton Friedman, who the Nobel committee thought knew a thing or two about economics, said the inflation is ALWAYS a conscious policy decision. It is not bad luck or a force of nature but a decision made by policy makers.

The Blame Game: GWB signed an early bail-out bill when real estate crashed. Obama got to sign one, too, and that kicked off the worst inflation since Carter. [Too many gloss over the disaster that was the Obama economy.]

The economy is too vast to hinge on a single president/presidency. It did look good with Trump until COVID cash became 'the thing'.

This is what they do. The MSM deflect blame, misdirect, lie, blame others, etc. It works too. I know several lefties who who don’t blame Biden for the crappy economy but even worse, they thought the economy was bad under Trump and that it was his fault.
