As we all know, we live in a time of a 24 hour news cycle. If big news comes out, it will capture attention at best for 48 hours before it is replaced with the next big story. Many have pointed fingers at the timing of Trump being notified of him being the target of an investigation. Notibly, with the whistle blower testistomony Wednesday, the timing seems targeted to cause distraction. This is at least what we are being told. I find a few red flags with this narrative.
1. The testimony only became a big news headline Monday night. If the goal was to thwart this hearing becoming a headline, then the announcement would have been made publicly rather than left to Trump and would have been made after the transcribed testimony provided the dancing evidence rather than before.
2. Since when does trump wait 2 full days before he spouts off about something like this? If he was notified on Sunday, waiting for 2 days before saying a word seems very out of character for President Trump. He would have that statement ready to go Monday afternoon.
3. Keeping the above in mind, why would he be given the information on Sunday? If they wanted to detract from the hearing, knowing the short attention span of the Amarican people today, they would have given it to him Monday, hoping to dominate the media attention for 24-36 hours and straight past the hearing
4. This brings me back to Trumps break in usual pattern. Why, being admittedly very good with utilizing and manipulating the media and timing his publicity, would trump make a statement the day before such an important hearing? Why the sudden change in his behavior which is so perfectly timed? He is not dumb and outside of his knee jerk outbursts is very calculating.
Fellow freepers, looking at the behavioral patterns of all involved, I can only conclude:
A. Trump wishes to highlight the injustice, though I do not believe he is so niave to think anyone but his base will see anything except either "this gives biden a pass", "they are all corrupt", or that most won't even notice the hearing because the media loves a good trump show.
B. Trump wants to burry this hearing to control what his base takes away. Maybe something that Biden did, however small it may be, he knows might also be turned on him so he wants to turn attention elsewhere?
C. The deep state is deeper than we realize and trump is helping hide the cards until they decide if the people will vote him in the primary or they need to oust Biden to defeat an outsider...
I would love yalls thoughts. No matter what though, it smells like I just got off a shrimp boat!

As far as Trump's tactic working only with his base and not Dims, this is primary season. The PR is meant mainly for the base anyway.

Trump is playing the martyr and everythiung is timed for a purpose. Sometimes he blurts things out without thinking it through, other times he simply sees an opportunity to retake the stage and goes for it. Sometimes, like this, he found it might be delayed to distract from other stuff, again to stir up folks and become the story across the media.
If what Iāve been reading for the last six months are correct, then WEF/Soros have taken control of everything. Klaus Schwab said elections will no longer happen after 2024.

Trump is following an 8 year game plan. Minor changes in the plan are necessary from time to time.
I grade whether we are being played by lifelong Democrat Trump at 50/50.
But, if we aren’t being played, he is one of the most incompetent people I can imagine to take on the Deep State, based on RESULTS.
He is CONSTANTLY getting his clock cleaned. And as a result, so are we.
I don’t consider Trump to be a calculating individual — the kind that must politically deceive in order achieve public favor. His faults, virtues, and goals are in plain sight — at least to a degree that I find acceptable.
Regarding his lawfare adversaries, I can only hope he’s getting the best possible counsel and is likewise being shrewd regarding the public disclosure of his defense strategies.

I think Trump believes in the maxim of any publicity is good publicity.
