Ukraine Fatigue Is Not an Option
The Wall Street Journal ^ | Feb. 22, 2023 | Daniel Henninger

This week is the Ukraine war’s first anniversary, but it feels like 10 years, not one. Ukraine “fatigue” is understandable. But let’s try to put the sensation of war fatigue in context.

Vietnam came to be known in the 1960s as the television war, shown on the TV news every night. News programs then lasted a half-hour, with Vietnam usually just a segment. Still, the unsettling daily footage eroded public support for the war.

Today, with all media on all the time, we are saturated with Ukraine’s war, as we are with mass murders, weather disasters or a train derailment. The sense of feeling worn down by events has become the natural order of things. I had Super Bowl fatigue before the opening kickoff.

In recent months, the argument over Ukraine has been about its importance for the U.S. Is this really “our” war? It is almost eerie that an answer to that legitimate question is emerging almost at the moment of the war’s first anniversary.

It has become clear in the past several weeks that the tectonic plates of global power are shifting. The autocratic alliance of China, Russia and Iran is signaling it’s no longer content to accept an indefinite standoff of competing ideologies and commercial interests as the status quo. They have decided to make Ukraine a singular test, which they believe the U.S., Europe and Asia’s democracies will fail.

There are multiple, lying chickenhawk warmongers above who are deflecting from the central problem - neocons/neolibs - because they support Obama, Biden, etc, and no doubt will be triggered over this.

Trump says Obama was behind 2014 Maidan Uprising in Ukraine, leading to the US ‘teetering on the brink of World War 3’

And... the same trashy neocons/neolibs above also push this war, just not as much as Nuland:

There is not an ounce of evidence that Ukraine serves as the “money laundering” operation for the “deep state”.

There is not an ounce of evidence, there is eleventy gajillion ounces. Look into George Soros purchase of Ukraine, and if he ain't Deep State, nobody is.

You're just an old Deep State stooge yer damn self, Williams,, and nobody buys your sefense of your masters. Give it up, already.

This is based on one arrangement by H. Biden, among a large number of other bits of business he was engaged in in several other countries.

And arrangements with other powerful American politicians' sons...Pelosi, Romney, Schumer, and a host of others. And that's just the ones we know about. Do you seriously believe those billions of dollars are not getting 'repurposed' back to these politicians, amongst other people?

Are you really that naive? Grow up, child.

The Dire Significance of Putin’s Feb 21 Speech
16014 ViewsFebruary 22, 2023 10 Comments
by David Sant for the Saker blog

On Tuesday, February 21st President Putin gave a speech that was expected to be very significant. After it was delivered, however, most pundits said he didn’t say anything we didn’t already know. Most of them focused on his announcement of the withdrawal from the START II treaty. However, he said something far more significant.

An Existential Threat
What Mr. Putin said, when read through the lens of international law, should be chilling to the West.

We would do well to remember that Mr. Putin majored in international law. His speech made a legal case against NATO.

First he listed, by my count, 30 different ways in which the Western nations have attacked Russia. These included the expansion of NATO to Russia’s borders, support of terrorists in Russia, economic war, terrorist sabotage of the Nordstream Pipeline, financing of the coup and war in Ukraine, directly assisting Ukraine to attack targets in Russia including Russia’s nuclear bombers, and plotting to destroy and partition Russia into pieces.

Nestled in the middle of these was an important statement.

“This means they plan to finish us once and for all. In other words, they plan to grow a local conflict into a global confrontation. This is how we understand it and we will respond accordingly, because this represents an existential threat to our country.”

Putin’s choice of words is extremely significant in light of Russian nuclear doctrine, which states that nuclear weapons could be used by Russia “in response to the use of nuclear and other types of weapons of mass destruction against it or its allies, and also in case of aggression against Russia with the use of conventional weapons when the very existence of the state is threatened.”

Among the 30 points of evidence of the American war on Russia, Mr. Putin listed several cases of American use of conventional weapons against Russian territory through Ukraine as the thinly veiled proxy, and stated that this represents an “existential threat to [the Russian State].”

What Mr. Putin has just told us is that the Kremlin now considers nuclear use condition #2 to be true, today.

This statement was accompanied by two related actions. The day before the speech Russia tested a Sarmat II ICBM. And at the end of the speech, Mr. Putin announced that Russia shall immediately withdraw from the START II treaty, which limits the number and range of their nuclear missiles.

These three statements and events together should tell the collective West that Russia has just said “Get off my porch!”, and cocked the forty-five.

This doesn’t mean that Russia is going to strike the USA tomorrow morning. But, we are definitely now teetering on the cliff’s edge of nuclear war.

(Excerpt, read the rest at the link)

Whatever you think on either side about the Ukraine, it’s not worth a nuclear war.

...btw. wasn’t it the US who persuaded the Ukraine to give up their nukes after the Soviet Union broke up?

If you believed in 'America First', you would have an American flag on your homepage. You got a Polish flag. Somehow I don't think you're an America First kinda guy.

In other words, leave American problems to Americans. If we want any sheiss outta you, we'll squeeze your Polish heads.

And because it is a both a resource drain and feint/distraction from China.

Increasingly I think the WEF/Schwab/Harari classic villain game has become so very public as a jr partner feint from China (with additional jr partner in Russia) as well.

George Soros - World Economic Forum Annual Meeting Davos 2010
https://creativedestructionmedia.com/investigations/2022/05/03/george-soros-the-god-emperor-of-ukraine/

ARTICLE ORIGINALLY POSTED ON NOVEMBER 15, 2019

With the ‘impeachment’ inquiry underway in the U.S. House of Representatives, any reasonable person will see the lineup of U.S. government officials arrayed against POTUS for disagreeing with them on American foreign policy. Impeachment is not just about removing President Trump from office, or to prevent his re-election, it is about securing future control over American operations in foreign countries by the progressive Deep State that was established under the Obama Administration.

These people have become drunk on power and on lot’s of your money; they don’t want this gravy train to stop.

Soros and his NGOs have essentially taken over the operations of the U.S. government in Ukraine. Open Society or Aspen Institute people have been placed strategically in positions of power throughout the Department of State, CIA, FBI, USAID, and other American governmental instruments. Soros NGOs like the Open Society Institute, the Aspen Institute, and the International Renaissance Foundation train a pipeline of cadre that when experienced enough are placed in the appropriate positions of power.

This also happens on the Ukrainian side. Soros-influenced personnel are located throughout the Ukrainian government, and penetrate every ministry in the country. These strategic tactics were honed by the Soros infrastructure in the Balkans and also in Central Europe.

These well-placed Soros agents make sure any decisions regarding commercial banks, sale of land, decentralization, minority benefits, etc, are all decided in favor of the progressive agenda. This process leads to the loss of sovereignty and the economic plunder of Ukraine. Much of the billions in aid given by the U.S. government and the International Monetary Fund are in turn given to Soros NGOs in-country in order to further the Soros plan. These developments have led to looting, laundering of money, breakdown of government institutions, bankruptcies and the fire-sale of government-owned institutions in Ukraine.

Sources within Ukraine inform CD Media that the Soros agenda includes getting control of Naftogas assets in-country, control of the central bank, control of land by forcing the sale of agricultural land to foreign companies, and control of the political system in Ukraine.

Intelligence sources tell CD Media that the following people and institutions are or were in the Soros cabal in Ukraine:

State Department, USAID, FBI, etc - George Kent, Marie Yovanovitch, Karen Greenway, Martha Boersh, Geoffrey Pyatt, Michael McFaul, William Taylor

World Bank: Sato Kahkomen

Ukrainian Officials: former President Petro Poroshenko, former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Volodymyr Groisman, former Finance Minister Natalia Jaresco (US citizen), former Finance Minister Alexandr Danilyuk, Finance Minister Oksana Markarova, Yuriy Vitrenko (Naftogas and Ukroboronprom), Andrei Kobolev (Naftogas), Aivaras Abromacius (Minister of Economic Development and Ukrobornoprom), Alexei Gonocharuk (current prime minister), Timofiy Milovanov (Minister of Economic Development), Inna Sovsun, Yuriy Blashuk, Petr Chernyshov (Kyivstar), Vladislav Rsahkovan (IMF, NBU).

Oligarchs: Viktor Pinchuk allegedly owes more than $1 billion to George Soros funds or banks. Pinchuk controls people within the Ukrainian government and lobbies for legislation that supports the progressive agenda.

Investment Banking: Dragon Capital, Tomas Fiala

Strategic Consulting: George Massoud at McKinsy Kyiv, Lazard Managing Partner Boijdar Djelic (former Finance Minister in Yugoslavia)

Political Parties: Golos (Vyacheslav Vakarchuk, Julia Klimenko). Golos is co-sponsored by Dragon Capital and the Soros machine.

Bag lady, the flag you post on your profile gives your location.

You have both state and country flags.

If you posted one it would be the Russian flag, right?

Its very much an option. Particularly as we feel the economic harm from our involvement in this war and the economic sanctions which have hurt the West a lot more than they’ve hurt Russia.

--- "...the money laundering head quarters for the Deep State."

Kudos on a succinct and accurate analysis. That a supposedly backwater nation in East Europe could have attracted the princelings of Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, Romney, and many more whose names are less well known, to gather up tens of thousands of dollars a month to "consult" in areas these political princes were not expert tells the tale. This is why the propagandists want the narrative to be something else. Should that unravel with receipts as more public proofs, many "fine families" would be shaken. So instead it is assured they are being shaken down. Protect us, or else. Epstein-like. Clinton-like. Obama-like.
