Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available

No cruise missile launches from Sevastopol this time. I wonder why…

“They could get up to 300 more M-109Ls from Italy”

M109s are highly capable guns, better than what the Russians have.

The wear and tear on the guns that WiU discussed, is a major factor for Russian Artillery as well.

It may be that the Pzh 2000 capabilities were so utilized, that they shot out their barrels already, and need barrel replacement. The forward maintenance program established in the Baltics seems likely to keep restoring them to operational status. Italy is proving six more of those, as well as the M109s. I think the Netherlands also contributed a few. They are super guns, but have a reputation for needing frequent maintenance TLC.

“@bayraktar_1love
«In Pskov region, not far from Latvia on a military airfield, two Ka-52s were damaged by an explosion at around 10pm. Ka-52s were non working and were under repair. Wreckage was scattered 200 meters around. Reasons unknown.» - Russian media. Link- https://t.me/bazabazon/14201

“Somebody should do a Ka-52 countdown.”

“@IainHutchinson3
I’ve been informally doing that, but it depends a lot on how many of the original 100 you think were airworthy to begin with. For what it’s worth my best guess is about 36 left.”

Wreckage was scattered 200 meters around.

Sizeable explosion.

Sabotage...I'm guessing anti-Putin Russians. Big question: Paid by CIA or paid by Ukraine Intel.

"No cruise missile launches from Sevastopol this time. I wonder why…"

They are likely to still be sorting ass components from elbow components among their wreckage, and arguing over which of them should be fired, imprisoned and/or shot. Maybe disrupting their new Monday morning cruise missile attack routine was a driver for the Ukrainian drone swarm.

In other news, maybe this is what the Global Hawk was watching for yesterday:

"@visegrad24 The Ukrainian-Turkish-UN convoy of 14 grain ships continues to sail south after breaking through Russia’s naval blockade of Ukraine this morning.

The Russian Navy is nowhere to be seen.

Looks like Erdogan rules the waves in the Black Sea!"

"Sizeable explosion."

Some reports say that two of the attack helicopters were destroyed, and two more damaged, but it wasn't clear to me if there was not confusion in the reporting. If it was a maintenance facility, as indicated, maybe some low density support equipment might have been lost as well..

Presumably, these were 15th Aviation Brigade assets, threatening the Baltics, but it puts pressure on Ka-52 (Alligator) availability systemwide, even if they were all hangar queens.

"@visegrad24 "Poland’s Deputy PM (@SasinJacek), signed an MoU agreement with South Korea on the construction of 2 nuclear reactors in Poland.

The announcement comes just days after Poland signed a similar deal with the US." (for six more Westinghouse reactors)

...even if they were all hangar queens.

Hangar queens are often used to supply parts that are not available through normal supply channels. Taking out hangar queens can have a ripple effect on system wide availability.

Awesome looking helo. Would not want to be on the receiving end.

Another video of RuZZia helo that was shot down today.

“Clear footage of the downing of a Russian Mi-8 helicopter earlier today in Donetsk Oblast.
The helicopter was reportedly operated by pilots from Wagner PMC.”

The down helo had been supplied by Belarus.

“this helicopter does not belong to the Russian army, but belongs to the private military company Wagner, it is also very interesting that it is a Mi-8MTKO1 from Belarus, that is, Belarus already supplies even helicopters to Russia”

“Awesome looking helo.”

Supposed to be their best ever.

Really need those to be demilitarized. Let’s string along Pootie Poot for a few more months, like we are scared of losing his natural gas or something. He’s fool enough to fall for it.

Seems like they have been losing a 2-3 per week in the air over the Ukraine recently. Close Air Support jets are bleeding too, as there are a lot of ground engagements to support.

Putin seems like he will make his people fight to the last tank, plane and missile; and then order a bayonet charge. He still seems to be banking on Europe throwing in the towel this Winter, over energy. Russian drones have been sniffing around Norwegian North Sea facilities lately:

“(Reuters) -Norway will put its military on a raised level of alert from Tuesday (1 Nov), moving more personnel on to operational duties and enhancing the role of a rapid mobilisation force in response to the war in Ukraine, the government said on Monday.” https://www.reuters.com/article/ukraine-crisis-norway-gas-idAFKBN2RQ0XJ

“The raised level is expected to last a year, “possibly more”, (Chief of Defence, General Eirik) Kristoffersen added.”

“The Air Force had called off training in the United States with its F35 fighter jets, preferring to keep them in Norway, said Kristoffersen.”

One would think that the leadership would be concerned with the welfare of the citizenry. Ukranian winters are harsh and while troops in the field might withstand the challenge of winter I would think the elderly, the mothers with kids, the infirm might suffer considerably more. I believe the UAF can defend what they hold successfully but they are not going to expel Russian forces, nor will they be able to force the clearly evil and insane Putin to cease his war. What can be done is to offer a cease fire and seek the diplomatic intervention of the West, UK, France, Italy. Not Poland which has its eyes on Kalinagrad or Hungary which sees Putin as a role model. If the war continues its present path a huge number of Ukranians will not see the Spring.
