Wreckage was scattered 200 meters around.

Sizeable explosion.

Sabotage...I'm guessing anti-Putin Russians. Big question: Paid by CIA or paid by Ukraine Intel.

"Sizeable explosion."

Some reports say that two of the attack helicopters were destroyed, and two more damaged, but it wasn't clear to me if there was not confusion in the reporting. If it was a maintenance facility, as indicated, maybe some low density support equipment might have been lost as well..

Presumably, these were 15th Aviation Brigade assets, threatening the Baltics, but it puts pressure on Ka-52 (Alligator) availability systemwide, even if they were all hangar queens.

Could be one of the Baltics. Those choppers were in their theater of operations, and primarily targeted at them. Russians have been openly slavering at them in the media with over the top threats, using the same basis as what they say about the Ukraine (and Poland), including even Foreign Minister Lavrov.

In the not too distant past, a survey of the Russian public was asked which nation was most hostile to Russia. The number one answer was Lithuania.

Lithuania openly resisted the Soviet occupation longer than anywhere else after WWII. For decades the “Forest Brothers” guerillas continued to kill Russian occupation troops and administrators. Today, the Baltic Countries are at the very top of the list of Military aid to the Ukraine, in percentage terms.
