Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov emphasized on Friday at a conference that it is not in Moscow's interest to have an open conflict with the United States or the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Ryabkov expressed concerns over Russia's current relations with the two, stating that they are "near-zero levels." He shared that "America is incapable of negotiating in principle and, together with a number of NATO capitals, is directly pushing Kiev to transfer military operations to our territory, intending to fight to the last Ukrainian" so as to impose "a strategic defeat" on Russia.
He further underscored that Moscow is not threatening anyone with nuclear attacks, but is rather warning of risks of interfearance in its military operation in Ukraine. "The US deliberately lowers the nuclear threshold, creating a threat to the national security of Russia," Ryabkov stated.

Russia signed onto the UN Charter back in 1945 which recognizes the sovergnty of existing nations.
But Russia has become aggressive and is violating that charter and now need to be put down.
Putin is the Hitler of my lifetime.
And as far as New Mexico, Mexico decided they weren’t going to honor the peace treaty signed by Santa Anna and attacked Texas which was an independent Republic at the time. So the US intervened and went down and captured Mexico city. At which point Mexico ceded everything north of the Rio Grand. And New Mexico ended up a territory controlled by the US for the next 60 years before they were finally allowed to be come a state.
Tucker lies by omission. Putin also demanded a de-militarized Ukraine, recognition of Crimea as being Russian, recognition that Luhansk and Donbas Oblasts are independent, giving evey Oblast the right to leave Ukraine and recognition of Russian as an official language. Its a de-facto end to Ukrainian independence.
Sure, like that’s a thing.
So you agree. We invaded Mexico and annexed a big slice of their country.
One thing about the New Soviet exactly like the Old Soviet: a foreign policy based on next-morning drunken regret.
Only after they attacked Texas.
When did Ukraine attack Russia? They didn’t. They were a peaceful neighbor. But Russia has designs on their natural resources and doesn’t care how many people they kill to get it.
It’s a thing when one wants to have their opinion taken seriously.
Yeah me too
Let’s call it Ukrainian peace where Russia stays out of Ukraine.
—> I fall in the George Washington camp, who urged the American people to take advantage of their isolated position in the world, and to avoid attachments and entanglements in foreign affairs, especially those of Europe, which he argues have little or nothing to do with the interests of America.
The colors on the map of Europe have been changing for thousands of years.
They will change until Christ returns.
Which wasn’t part of the US at the time.
“Using your NATO expansion argument, the Luhansk, Kherson, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions are holding safe and secure elections to join Russia for protection from NATO, Washington and London.”
False analogy, because the former Soviet satellites are independent and sovereign nations, and they joined NATO as whole nations.
That is not the case with the separatists in Ukraine. I have no issue with them voting, as long as they follow the law, as set forth in the Ukrainian constitution, which does provide for such referenda, but with the qualification that ALL citizens of Ukraine get to vote on the matter (as it affects them all) and not just the residents of the separatist territories.
It’s simple: Just follow the law.
When did Mexico attack the US?
Why is it Neocons are more concerned with the border of Ukraine than with our Texas border?
They didn’t. They attacked the Republic of Texas which pissed us off.
Just like Russia attacking Ukraine has pissed us off.
Fortunately for Russia, we’re only arming Ukraine so they can defend themselves.
“thank god one side is talking peace.”
You’re such a fraud. You’ve been cheering on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since Day One. Not a day goes by that you don’t applaud some Russian aggression.
Good. On the 27th these states will be part of Russia, enjoying all subsequent protection Moscow can provide. Any attack on them by NATO or it's proxy, the Ukraine, will be justifiably viewed as an act of war.
It's a joyous day. Eat, dance and sing!
