They are talking about Estonians who are Russian. Like German Jews. Does that clarify it any?

The “worst” would not be a war with illegal aliens. It would be what would happen afterward.

This is the state of today’s conservative movement.

Why wouldn’t a country confiscate weapons from residents who are citizens of a hostile country with whom they share a border?
To: Dogbert41
Like German Jews
"German Jews" didn't throw any company executives critical of the country's "leader" out of windows
so, apples and oranges

To the gun grabbers here that support the confiscation of firearms:
This is serves as a road map for the Democrats to seize the guns from the “semi fascists.”

Somewhat, yes, if they are Estonian citizens. For a country to survive it must have a loyal citizen base.
Look at the US now. Do I believe in our second amendment rights? Absolutely. Do I believe non-loyal people who would take away my freedoms should be able to use those same freedoms to kill me? Absolutely not.

What % of republicans would demand the same of their neighbors if push came to shove in the US. There would be tough talkers turning them in, ratting out neighbors just to save their own ass

Not really a comparison. That was nazism finding an excuse and scapegoat for all their troubles and reason to go to war.
A better comparison might be internment of Japanese here during WWII. Was that wrong? Perhaps. Was it prudent? Perhaps.

I think that if I was a Russian living in Estonia (or any non-Russian land) I’d be moving back to Russia posthaste.
