It is the nicest day of the year today, so I got my convertible out of storage and was randomly driving around looking at the trees and the rest of God's creation, walked on the beach and just wanted to enjoy nature.
I normally do not carry, but there were all random people wearing masks, so I could not really see their expressions and try to gauge what their intentions might be.
It seems like they were trying to cover up their first amendment rights to expression or something.
Even in the neighborhoods when I was driving home there were just people alone wearing masks checking out the houses and stuff.
Should I call 911 and report all these suspicious people ?
My doctors, like most doctors, probably knew there are more physical downsides to wearing masks all the time than any perceived benefits.
Don’t forget in march 2020 even Fauxci admitted masks didn’t really work for covid, it was more about people making feel better. This was when supplies were running lean, but I can’t believe he’d say this just because of something like that.
But I’m fine if you want to wear them. If it makes you feel better, thats what counts, and apparently that’s all its going to do for you. I’m not for totalitarians one way or the other.
I have... it has some rather unfortunate digestive system effects on me.
Right now I’m on three different antihistimines simultaneously and still have to wear my P100 mask to go out some days in the spring. :P
A lot of the shadier homeless really seemed to welcome the masking.
Yeah, except the mask I’m usually wearing in allergy season is a P100 respirator. Pretty sure that does a little bit more than make me ‘feel good’. For dust (while on a motorcycle), even cloth is a decent choice.
Do you wear goggles, at the same time?
Come on, no one would never think a dirt biker wearing a mask was suspicious unless they were riding into a Casino, or maybe a Bank or something
I live near a university and thank goodness, I hardly ever see a mask anymore. Maybe it’s because the mandate here has been gone for over a year. Even when we had the mandate, quite a few people, including yours truly, ignored it.
It’s also been a while since I’ve seen a masker in a car, alone or otherwise.
I find it a handy way to identify non-black liberals (since nearly all blacks are Democrats you can always assume that with them)!
Then I know how to treat them appropriately.
If you are talking about during allergy season, yes. Or sun/glasses that fit tightly to my face.
On my motorcycle outside of that season, no - I wear a full face helmet that protects the eyes already.
Plenty of videos on Youtube of Karens freaking out about just that while in national parks. :P

I don’t mind people wearing masks, it just makes it easier for me to identify the stupid ones so I can avoid interacting with them.
Maybe we should all start going around wearing red bandanas over our nose and cowboy hats.
I've seen spring for 80 years and until 2020 I never saw sane people walking in parks, on the beach, driving cars or anything else wearing a mask.
I'm not saying no one ever did, but it was chi-com19 that brain washed fools and apologists like you.

Wore a mask for 27+ years. For work. The last thing you wanted was to catch a cold. You could never get rid of it.

I’ve also seen people post about how the Chinese have all been wearing masks during cold and flu season for years.
I spent ten days in China on a business trip in February (cold and flu season) 2001. We were in Zhangjiagang and Shanghai and I never saw a single mask.
Having a deviated septum/broken nose does not do me well. Having to sleep on my back elevated by a bunch of pillows with a couple under my knee does wonders for nothing. Helps my knee, that is all. I am a side sleeper, but I wake up not breathing right. It sucks.

second notihng you said contradicts what i said. so you needed to wear a mask at work. there are obvious reasons why in certain workplaces people need to have masks or even more respiratory equipment on.
it doesnt change the fact that for most people in everyday life, there are more known medical downsides wearing a mask all the time, than there are benefits.
they already came out and admitted for covid masks dont do anything except make people feel better. from lord fauxci himself. if i had a job that i needed respiratory gear i’d wear it. when thenjoker pushing for people to wear masks admitted twocyears ago they dont really do anything for covid, you’re stupid if you wear one because they told you its not going to do anything for you. later studies showed they could be detrimental by decreasing o2 levels in people and causing respiratory bacteria infections, not to mention facial skin issues people developed wearing the masks so long.
i’m partial to the Bane facemasks from the batman villain. they make some real good steampunk-style versions too.
