The most liked justice in the Supreme Court is Clarence Thomas

Since the libs are going after Clarence Thomas again, seems like as good a time as any to rewatch this video of him laughing.pic.twitter.com/GtPY7CgFIv— Michael Knowles (@michaeljknowles) January 27, 2022

He who laughs last...

It has taken more than 3 decades, but the most vilified Supreme Court justice in American history has the last laugh on his tormentors.

During his confirmation hearings, an angry and racist media went out of its way to portray him as an oversexed black man. The detestable Nina Totenberg of NPR conspired with Democrats to push false charges of sexual harassment on him. Anita Hill perjured herself with allegations she plagiarized from real complaints.

He called what he endured during his confirmation process an electronic a high-tech lynching.

His crime was being a black conservative. They piled up on him to discourage other black people from thinking for themselves.

Now a Politico/Morning Consult poll shows 34% of registered voters now have a favorable opinion of him. That is higher than any of the other justices.

True, 33% still hate him. They will take their hate of him with them to their graves and then on to hell.

Chief Justice John Roberts is at 29% favorable/17% unfavorable.

Stephen Breyer is at 24%/14%.

Samuel Alito Jr. is at 20%/14%.

Sonia Sotomayor is at 31%/20%.

Elena Kagan is at 18%/15%.

Neil Gorsuch is at 21%/19%.

Brett Kavanaugh is at 28%/30%.

Amy Coney Barrett is at 29%/26%.

This shows liberals hate more than conservatives do.

Justice Thomas has not just survived, but he has thrived. He has forgiven and moved on. And he has never, ever kowtowed to the press or the liberals because he knows he will never receive their approval.

And he also knows that their approval does not matter. He swore an oath to defend the Constitution, and he does. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear robes.

I agree with that. He was second when we had Antonin Scalia, IMO.

He’s the most liked by me. I just wish we could get a few more of him.

I’ve heard this for years, i.e., that among the SCOTUS clerks and staff, Thomas is considered far and away the nicest, most down-to-earth justice... and that the distance between him and the 2nd nicest justice is quite substantial.

‘Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words’ tells the Clarence Thomas story truly and fully. It was a great movie. Thomas was a radical leftist student at one point. It was years of working with a procecutor that opened his eyes to the way things really were.

It’s very good to hear that there are strong friendships of any degree between the Justices. Perhaps the key is not holding the way a Justice decides to vote on any particular issue against him personally. It gives me a smidgen of hope that there is at least some professional level of maturity common in the high court chambers.
Ever since 2016, most Dems cannot see themselves ever being friends with any Republican. So I’ve been hearing at least.

Interview(s) I have seen of him have been interesting and compelling. He comes across as a nice, decent man.

I had the pleasure of meeting Justice Thomas about 15 years ago and watching him interact with a crowd of inner city high school students and their parents. He was very gracious and sincere. Hugged total strangers and made everyone feel at ease.

Beautiful classical conservative minds help breed likable people. Contrast Catholi Christian Thomas with Humanist Fauci.

The feeling is mutual...I don’t have any dumblecrat friends, either.

How many movies have been done about him, or even hour-length biographicals? Oh, never mind, he’s a black conservative.

Clarence Thomas is the only real MAN on the SCOUS.

He’s the only one with a soul, a conscience, a heart, common sense…

I’ve had the opportunity to meet with Justice Thomas several times. He is a pleasure to just sit and listen to. However, he also takes the time to listen to others. And, he remembers details. It’s amazing how much he remembered about me from once visit to the next. He is a great man.

I’ve heard that he and his wife take their RV out when the court is not in session. My dream has been to share a campfire with him.

I remember reading a story a few years ago where he struck up a conversation with two high school age boys on a plane. They were talking basketball. At some point the boys figured out who he was and invited him to be the keynote speaker at their graduation. He accepted their invitation.

If he would just declare himself female.

He could pick up the last few detractors, and he would be the first female black justice.

I read almost every supreme Cour decision, and by far Thomas is the most thoughtful and considerate of the Constitution itself than any of the other justices. He has blind spots when ‘national security’ is invoked, but if I could clone him a few times, I’d be willing to live with that.
