A bit of good news as we kick off 2022.
It turns out coffee is your friend. And it is very good for you, as first outlined in this report from 2017:
A meta-analysis of 127 studies conducted in 2017 revealed that daily drinking two to four 8-ounce cups of coffee decreases risk of cancer by 20 percent, Type 2 diabetes by 30 percent, and Parkinson's by 30 percent. Furthermore, a huge study in the UK found that those who drink a LOT of coffee live longer than those who don't.
Wow, that’s high praise; you would think that would be enough to convince tea-totalers to switch it up and enjoy a delicious cup of Joe a couple times a day. But wait! There’s more: in 2021 scientists found three new advantages to drinking coffee:
1. Drinking Coffee Reduces Risk of Liver Disease
2. Drinking Coffee Reduces Risk of Heart Failure
3. Drinking Coffee Reduces Risk of Alzheimer's
Why, you’d have to be a fool to pass up the opportunity to delight your senses, brighten your day and expand your lifespan.
And now your life enhancing caffeine need not be racist. You can get the same health benefits from your covfefe regardless of which politically correct shade and hue you prefer.
Such good news: Now even the woke can be woke.

Coming, news from the Tea Institute.
I have two cups with milk and honey every day. I should live forever!
I’m waiting for the tea institute news….. I’m a tea drinker.
Try a SMALL dash of salt, and one of pepper in your covfefe. You might like the result. It’s subtle, but very nice.
1 pot of 1/3 caff
1 pot of decaff
Every day.
Pot. Not cup.
Stay away from carrots. They can kill ya.
Do the benefits also accrue with de-caf? I am not supposed to get a lot of caffeine, and I would rather save that for dark chocolate...
I go for the old fashion diet...meat, potatoes, vegies, milk. A salad as a snack. Little bread, no chips/junk, no soda. Sunshine when possible in Upstate NY.
I think coffee gives you a constant boost...certainly at least as far as brain activity. Love my coffee. Buy Peet's Cafe Domingo.
You win the Post of the Thread.
Shovel my driveway ?
Does “covfefe” count?*
(*Coffee with a lot of “fefe” in it)
