I am ANGRY!!!!
I just got up to the local news and hearing about a young police officer (off duty) car jacked and shot twice in the back. He's DOA at the hospital in Lorain Oh.
The shooter is in custody and there's NO news either about HIM or the dead officer!!!
Every local chanel has blacked it out and instead are telling me when to take down Christmas ornamets and wall to wall eulogy for Betty White....
The media makes me SICK!

LAPD issues warning of ongoing robbery trend targeting people in affluent areas
(In some circumstances, this would be a superb invitation to counter-ambush the robbers.)
In fairness, its a holiday weekend, and local news outlets were probably not at full staff ; which is why you didn’t see it sooner.
Still, points made by others on this thread are valid, and there are folks working on a solution toward that.
Had the off duty officer been shot in the front, instead of in the back, they would be crying police brutality.
As it is.. putting away Christmas ornaments is higher priority than a cop being killed.
Sometimes I daydream about what it would have been like if we HAD AN ATTORNEY GENERAL WHO HAD A THREE DIGIT IQ INSTEAD OF A TWO DIGIT.
One of the most egregious appointments to the office.

He had the spine and will of an amoeba. I wonder how many Zuckerbucks went into his bank account.
When am I supposed to take down my Christmas decorations?
Who could have guessed that Doctor Zhivago would become a training manual.. :(
Leftist media is the enemy, folks.
Heartbreaking!

Fox 8 had it reported 14 hours ago.

Original poster has this all messed up. It took place on Rocky River Dr and the officer is at Fairview Pk Hospital and was pronounced dead. Has nothing to do with Lorain, Ohio.
“Citizen reporters are a very important part of this, as is freerepublic.”
So true.
I’m old enough to recall when a ‘journalist’ could make a career covering stuff no one else would touch. Real opportunities are being ignored.
That stuff is red meat .... if you are an honest ‘journalist’!!
Uh huhhhhh.....
Our local news jerks have never called it anything BUT an insurrection!
Right and 20 straight minutes of a couple of news bimbos giggling their a^@es off discussing weather news....as IF that that is more urgent and important!
shooter is in custody
Epstein kicks box
Same here; an incredible unarmed insurrection...
Woman facing aggravated murder charge in shooting death of off-duty officer: I-Team
CLEVELAND (WJW) — An 18-year-old woman has now been charged with aggravated murder in the shooting death of off-duty Cleveland Police Officer Shane Bartek.
According to Cleveland Municipal Court records, Tamara McLoyd was charged Sunday with a count of aggravated murder.
Court papers say Tamara McLoyd “did purposely cause the death of Shane Bartek during the armed robbery of his vehicle.”
The complaint says detectives looked at security video which showed the officer being ambushed and robbed. Police say “McLoyd shot Bartek during a struggle.”
Police sources say after she allegedly shot Bartek on Cleveland’s west side, she took his car and drove off. She is then accused of giving the car to Anthony Butler Jr.
Richmond Heights police spotted the stolen car Butler was driving and pursued the vehicle.
Butler crashed the car into a fence in Euclid. He was arrested and is facing charges of fleeing and eluding, receiving stolen property and numerous traffic related charges.
Lyndhurst Municipal Judge Dominic Coletta set his bond at $5,000,000.
Butler was arrested after leading police on a pursuit. Butler was driving the stolen vehicle taken Friday following the murder of off-duty Cleveland police officer Shane Bartek.
The Richmond Heights Police Chief said the officers involved demonstrated tremendous bravery and put their lives at serious risk to apprehend Butler.
Ping!
They got her.
Thanks
