A New York Magazine writer tried to mock a family of 11 struggling with inflation because of their weekly purchase of 12 gallons of milk.
The mother of the big family, Krista Stotler said during a CNN interview that “‘A gallon of milk was $1.99. Now it’s $2.79. When you buy 12 gallons a week, times four weeks, that’s a lot of money.’” The Twitter Trends negatively portrayed the family’s purchase of 12 gallons: “A CNN segment analyzing 'how badly inflation is hitting the middle class' has some discussing why the family featured purchases 12 gallons of milk per week.” As Mediaite clearly explained concerning the eleven-member family, “each individual is drinking roughly a gallon of milk.” That context didn’t matter to leftist elitists on Twitter who attacked the family for allegedly being excessive. One of them was New York Magazine writer Jonathan Chait. Chait spewed on Twitter: “12 gallons of milk a week may sound like a lot, but they've actually had to cut out their milk baths on alternate days.”

A gallon of milk per person per week is very reasonable, ESPECIALLY if you have kids.
I could see them going through a gallon just at breakfast with cereal, or lunch with sandwiches and cookies for dessert.
That guy is totally out of touch with reality.
Thank God the family is drinking milk instead of soda. I wonder if he would have mocked them for admitting they drink that much soda or Gatorade.

From the photo, I suspect that he/she/it, will never be interested in procreating, though sex with someone/something of the same sex, might be something he/she/it strives for.
Were his parents first cousins, perhaps?

I have two teenage boys in my house. Those jokers go through 4 gallons a week wife buys 5 so she has milk to cook with or for coffee. We actually lable tht one “Mama’s Milk.” Boys thought it was gross, mama thought it was a cute play on terms and I really don’t care either way.

My oldest would down a gallon every other day when he was really growing, and that’s just one kid.
Yhe left has recently been pushing that people who consume dairy products are racists because most white adults can digest it. I am not kidding.
When I was 15, I was going through a gallon of milk (mostly with Nestle’s Quik) a day and a half. And no, I wasn’t fat then.
Milk and eggs are some of the best nutritional values per $ going.
She probably got about $12,000 in kid stimulus and $2750 a month in kid tax credits.
They are a married couple with big hearts. On the video, they say 2 of their kids are biological; 6 kids are adopted, including a sibling group of 2, a sibling group of 3, and 1 other child; and 1 other child is living with them.
Me and my brother drank that much a week between the two of us.
