A gallon of milk per person per week is very reasonable, ESPECIALLY if you have kids.

I could see them going through a gallon just at breakfast with cereal, or lunch with sandwiches and cookies for dessert.

That guy is totally out of touch with reality.

Thank God the family is drinking milk instead of soda. I wonder if he would have mocked them for admitting they drink that much soda or Gatorade.

Me and my brother drank that much a week between the two of us.

When I was a kid, my family of 5 (3 sons) went through a 3 quarts to a gallon a day of milk. Good thing my uncle was a dairy farmer and we got the milk from his farm.

I still shake the jug to mix the cream back into the milk...

Yep, the writer thinks they should be drinking Brawndo because it has electrolytes.

Heck...
I drink/use 2.5 gallons a week and I'm an 87.9 year-old kid...

In addition, my wife (who comes from a family of 10 kids) uses almost another gallon-per-week in her cooking & baking...
It's amazing how good she can make dogfood taste with the proper use of milk... (We miss you Rush...)
