At times we need no interpretation, or hermeneutically derived extrapolation to predict something from the prophetic word of the Bible. Most of the time the bible says what it means—and means what it says.
Since time is measured both by the passing of events, and the ticking of the clock, it takes little discernment to uncover the time we are in and when the next major event will transpire.
Want the simple version? While the exact time of an event may not be in the Bible, the estimated time of that event can and does come from the scripture, based on a fulfillment of other prophecies, and just how many of them are already part of history. It is the simple process of elimination.
How many eschatological (prophecies of future events) have already been fulfilled? In fact, there are very few that have not been completely fulfilled at this very moment.
Three major events yet to come.
The rebuilding of the Jewish Temple
The war over Jerusalem that ends in the sudden defeat of the armies that come against Israel—sometimes referred to as “Ezekiel’s War.”
The revealing, the rise to power, and the fall, of the world’s last dictator known as the Antichrist.
> The Arab hatred for Israel will be the impetus for the first two and that hatred is seen every day in the Middle East. Number three is predicated on the moral decline of nations and a move toward worldwide anarchy along with the full corruption and decline of world governments.

Sigh. I get this crap from a lot of my acquaintances who are otherwise mostly sane functioning educated even wealthy people with large successful families
Here we go.
How does the fact of descendants of those who declared “crucify Him, we want Barabbas” convincing us it’s all our fault figure into your eschatology?
Ugh boy.
Well, you could be right OR you could be getting to live in a world of troubles the world has not seen before.
You are willfully blind. I used to be too. I scoffed at God and His Word but the constant prodding by the Holy Spirit opened my eyes. Just like the conversion of Saul to Paul. Ask God to show you the truth. He will
You’re comment shows complete disdain and contempt for both believers and the poor.
Your*
He that is filthy, let him be filthy still. 😉
Bloodlines. Herodians and Rome
“I scoffed at God and His Word but…”
Never in my life have I done so.
I’ll be getting messages all day from this thread from people threatening me to believe their interpretive narrative. Abusive, character-attacking lies.
The people who cite Revelations are so disgustingly judge mental in their desperate search for fellowship in their narrative of how this is going
Don’t be so sure you’re not scoffing at God’s Word
Read Matthew. And stop writing to me

Humans have been claiming the end of the world is coming “any day now” since they crawled out of the caves.
Who is this ‘our’ you write of? Anyone who ‘blames’ Jews or Romans (and descendents thereof) for His Death on the cross, and the ‘End Times’ need to read the Bible.
What I know, is that I put Jesus on that cross, as did EVERYONE. Only the ‘perfect’ get to Heaven, and those that accept and acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior. As there is no one ‘perfect’ (in otherwords, ‘sinless’), we all need a Savior.
(FWIW, asking Him to be my Saviour is easy, treating Him as Lord of my life? A HUGE struggle for me. Unfortunately, I often fail in that, especially in responding to fellow FReepers, at times.)
God chose the Jews to be His people, as an example to the World, so everything DOES revolve around His City, Jerusalem. The’Law’ was given, to show how we should, but can’t, and won’t, live. Jesus is the Lamb of God. By accepting Him as Savior and Lord, our sins are transferred onto him, as sins were transferred onto the Passover lamb, and His, spotlessness, sinlessness is transferred to us. Passover was/is a foreshadow of Jesus’ Death, Resurrection and His forgiveness of sins.
Anyone who ‘blames the Jews’ for how everything turns out, is blind to the Truth.
You think the Bible is crap? interesting...
Is everything that you don’t want to discuss ‘crap’?
I don’t agree or disagree with the topic I’m just saying I wouldn’t call what other people find interesting ‘crap’.
Jesus IS the Word. Jesus IS God. You scoffed at the Word
I can’t help but insert a joke.
Don’t we already have a dictator? Joe Stalin...er...Joe Biden?
I understand how you feel. I was once the target of someone here, who didn’t apparently understand what I was saying, and I asked him to stop posting to me.
When people communicate on the computer, it’s easy to misunderstand.
“ You think the Bible is crap?”
I live by it.
This thread is not about the Bible
It’s about an interpretation by who knows who?
Read Matthew and realize I am not affected by your micharacterizations. Jesus went through all that and showed us how to handle it.
My whole comment pertained to you calling other people’s ideas ‘crap’, and nothing else.
Don’t you think that’s kind of rude? You live by the Bible? What would the Bible say about treating other people that way?
“ who didn’t apparently understand what I was saying”
They understand me very well. They’d are deliberately clouding it and mix characterizing it.
They are interpreting the Bible. I’m calling BS. Tgey lie about what I am saying. They’ll use ad home I’m attacks, which are against FR rules
