You’ve got to wonder how many other people this monster killed. We’ll never know.

He may have e,used police, but if he never got saved, he hasn’t eluded the final judgement and punishment. I just wish though that they had caught him to give the victims families some sense of closure.

Samual Little had 96 confirmed murders but he said there was many more.
A girl in my town I grew up in ran away in the early 70’s after a fight with her parents. Last local people saw of her was loading her duffle bag in a car with several other people that stopped to pick her up.
Her parents ever got over it and spent all their money to find her over the years. Either dead or she created a new identity.

This team spent years going over Poste;s photos and notes. Meanwhile he died and three years later they came up with this conclusion that has no evidence behind same. Show us the decode using his full name.

Some true crime podcasters [Criminology: Mike Morford, Mike Ferguson] I listen to did a whole series on Zodiac, 12 episodes, I think - one of them (Morph) had a very good idea who he thought it was ... there was some geographic info involved, I think. I’ll be curious to get his opinions on this. I’m sure they’ll do an episode on this latest ‘finding’.

That’s a frightening story. What town was that? Makes me think of the Manson family picking her up. Sad.
I put the story up here but it doesn’t mean I’m convinced they really DO know it’s the real Zodiac. I’m taking a wait and see attitude. So many of these claims out there but you never know.

They had his DNA from the back of stamped envelopes he sent in the early 1970’s.

The analysis, by a private laboratory, was expected to check the DNA against GEDmatch.[88][89] It was hoped the Zodiac Killer may be caught in a similar fashion to the “Golden State Killer” Joseph James DeAngelo. In May 2018, a Vallejo police detective said that results were expected in several weeks. However, as of September 2021, no results have been reported.[90][91][92]
