He may have e,used police, but if he never got saved, he hasn’t eluded the final judgement and punishment. I just wish though that they had caught him to give the victims families some sense of closure.

A girl in my town I grew up in ran away in the early 70’s after a fight with her parents. Last local people saw of her was loading her duffle bag in a car with several other people that stopped to pick her up.
