Newly resurfaced video footage appears to confirm speculation that the man who shot and killed Capitol protester Ashli Babbitt was Capitol Hill Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd, who was NOT assigned to protect Vice President Mike Pence, as reported by mainstream media outlets.
The video footage of the black man in the suit has been extensively archived on the internet, and it plainly contradicts mainstream media accounts, citing anonymous intelligence community sources, which claim that a Secret Service member assigned to Mike Pence shot Babbitt.
Independent journalist Tayler Hansen stated that Capitol Hill Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd was the one who shot Babbitt on April 13 of this year. No instance of this assertion being challenged is known at this time.

A member of Speaker John A. Boehner’s dignitary protection team left a loaded firearm in the bathroom of Ohio Republican’s office suite in March 2015, where a 7- or 8-year-old child visiting the Capitol with his parents found the weapon.
A third Glock was found in April 2015 by custodial staff cleaning the Capitol Police headquarters building on D Street Northeast.

BS, in the video showing the shooting you can clearly see that he was quite some distance away from her and actually took a step forward to get a clear shot before she even made it entirely through.
The problem we have today is that law enforcement, intel, even the courts... there is a great degree of politics and ideology driving the decision making at every level. Instead of ***consistent*** application of the law or policies, we have selective interpretation and enforcement and you see this clearly in Babbitt vs. Floyd, or 6 January vs. Portland. It’s not even subtle.
I want the man who murdered her on camera tried and convicted. The man who knelt on George Floyd’s nect has been tried and convicted. What is the difference? Is it because Ashlie Babbitt was white that we do not try and convict a black man who murdered her on camera.

I saw the video of the actual shooting and still photos of this guy beforehand walking around with his finger on the trigger of his Glock. It looks to me like the cop pushed his pistol toward Ashli as she came through the window, his hand tensed up with excitement and with his finger on the trigger (a big no-no) fired the gun accidentally. Glock accidents happen fairly frequently because the gun has no manual Onon-trigger) safety and all you have to do to fire it is to pull the trigger.
