Newly resurfaced video footage appears to confirm speculation that the man who shot and killed Capitol protester Ashli Babbitt was Capitol Hill Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd, who was NOT assigned to protect Vice President Mike Pence, as reported by mainstream media outlets.
The video footage of the black man in the suit has been extensively archived on the internet, and it plainly contradicts mainstream media accounts, citing anonymous intelligence community sources, which claim that a Secret Service member assigned to Mike Pence shot Babbitt.
Independent journalist Tayler Hansen stated that Capitol Hill Lt. Michael Leroy Byrd was the one who shot Babbitt on April 13 of this year. No instance of this assertion being challenged is known at this time.

I wrote yesterday that he was NOT assigned to Pence. There is a clear video of the SS folks guiding him out.

For the rest of his life he will be in misery. Public incarceration. He won’t be able
to go anywhere unless they perform plastic surgery on his face. His family will
have to live a secret life ala witness protection. He might end up doing himself in
for what he did and for guilt of putting shame upon his family.
Then prosecute him. There was no reason to have shot her. She wasn’t advancing on him or any other officer and she was unarmed. You murdered a citizen without cause.

It’s already been announced that a private review was conducted and the officer involved absolved. But, as far as I know, that doesn’t stop a civil suit from the family once their action to identify the shooter outs the coward. Discovery in that instance could be very interesting.
