OK, waiting for users of these obsolete cartridges to show-up and express their outrage. đ

Maybe for the first four, but I think 40 S&W is not going anywhere. Way more popular than 10mm.

I know some people who like the new 350 legend, because of the ammo availability, but people are starting to recognize that.
no one near me has any ammo at all except for shotgun shells, with the exception of one Chinese lady who has a little shop in an office park. She so happy to sell you anything you want, but you don’t even get free lube packets to help ease the money out of your wallet.

I am OUTRAGED that they would say this about the .32 ACP! Actually, it’s been pretty easy to find. I have an antique that’s a pleasure to shoot. Finding an extra magazine is where things get trickier.

Well, apparently the lesson here is to never bring a 25 auto to a shovel fight.

So I have to get rid of over 200rds of .40 for my S&W MP Shield?

I still have the .25 caliber Baby Browning that my late father carried as an ankle gun when he was a police detective in Birmingham, AL back in the ‘50s.
Fun to shot, but probably wouldn’t stop much. When I asked him about that years ago, he said, “Yeah, but it would sting like hell!”
It might have helped that he was drilling out his own hollow points.

6 Dead, Dying, and Soon-To-Be-Obsolete Handgun Cartridges LOL!! The author must have had a deadline PLUS terminal writer's block, to put together that load of horse manure...

32 acp is going to be around for a long time. It was highly popular especially in Europe and there are a LOT of handguns in that caliber still floating around.

Glad I stuck with my 9mm back when 40s were all the rage. The .25 was a good backup back in my LEO days, but of no real practical value ever since. Just a cute sexy little fun sized toy.

The only miss was the .40 S&W.
It delivers a lot more power than the 9mm, in the same form factor.

The .40 is snappy and kicks a bit, 10’s are smoother. I have two baby Glocks in both (27 and 29, I think). I can hit the shit with the 10. The 10 may over-penetrate, but I would rather carry that one.

Dead, Dying,Obsolete Handgun Cartridges?
I don’t own any of them.
But let me make it perfectly clear, you can easily kill a man with a .22LR pistol.

I am just glad to see the .45 Colt is not on that list. I have no clue how Cowboy Action Shooting has survived the Covid shutdowns. Are they still active or is everybody hunkered down at the Saloon and still waiting?

The .41 Magnum, like the 16 gauge, will always be a niche/cult thing.
