Coke Gets a Kick in the Can from Consumers
Family Research Council ^ | April 7, 2021 | Tony Perkins

A week into the fiasco over Georgia's election law, most Americans want to know: just who are these woke CEOs listening to? Not to their shareholders, who can't make a profit when their companies alienate half of the country. Not to lawyers or legislators, who could set them straight on what the policy actually does. And certainly not to U.S. consumers, who are sending a resounding message that they're done with businesses who can't check their radicalism at the door long enough to read a 98-page piece of legislation.

"It's insanity," Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) agreed on "Washington Watch." Like most people, he can't believe that Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta, and so many others would put the solvency of their companies on the line to make a political point that -- it turns out -- isn't even true! When even MSNBC is telling Joe Biden he "needs to keep it honest," the Democratic Party has reached a low even the liberal media can't believe. And yet the White House and its field marshals in Hollywood and Atlanta created such a ridiculous narrative about this law that people like Willie Geist are going on the most radical news outlet in the country and insisting it's impossible to "square the president's argument."

"[D]oesn't it seem that a lot of people jumped the gun?" Joe Scarborough asked in follow-up. They moved the MLB All-Star Game "before actually either reading the bill or understanding how the bill lined up with New Jersey laws, with New York laws, with laws all across the nation," he said. Then, astounding even more viewers, he took aim at the lynchpin of the Left's whole argument. "...

It would seem to me that these CEO’s couldn’t help but know that there selfish, virtue-signaling comments were certain to destroy millions of dollars of value in these corporations, thereby violating their fiduciary duty to the stockholders. It should be civilly actionable and potentially criminal negligence.

My thoughts as well...

“And don’t work at all for mixed drinks.”

Ketchup works for Bloody Mary’s. Why wouldn’t Calamansi not work as a mixer?

Sweet Tea will even suffice for bourbon... so will branch water.

Pineapple juice?

The wife loves Diet Dr Pepper. I’m glad her beverage of choice isn’t on the hit list YET. For a long time diet DP was hard to get after the China flu hit. I had to buy Wally World’s version Dr. Thunder a few times. I LIKE IT BETTER THAN THE REAL THING.

Ketchup only belongs on fries, fried fish filet grilled cheese. Anything else is just wrong.

Let’s see: no carbonation and the totally wrong taste for calamansi for starters

Walmart is on my ban list due to its firing all American back-office workers and replacing them with H1B Indian scumbags in Bentonville, AR and other locations,

There appears to be several places on the internet that give recipes for making your own GoldTea, even the raspberry one.
Happy hunting !

The reality of it all . . . there are so many corporations that start with good intentions but are given over to greed and power.

The players polled 50 players. It doesn’t say which players or what teams. Fifty players out how many? Yep, players support the move.

At the little store next to where I work, all the Pepsi was gone except for one can that was turned backwards, which I nabbed. Plenty of all kinds of Coke.

First off...not a real soda drinker....but have always loved RC when I actually wanted a soda. It would ‘burn’ all the way down. I wonder if it still does that.

NOBODY reads any bills or EOs. They take what the Enemy Media TELLS them and runs with it.

Never have had a Coke in my entire life. 7-Up, and only in a cocktail. I don’t like soda as a drink with a meal; soda is for ‘recreational use’ only, LOL!

My favorite burger place, Whataburger, has both diet and regular DP. I usually make myself a split DP, which is half diet and half regular that way I get the best of both - half the calories and half the headache from the artificial sweetener.
