During a patriotic cruise through Salem, Oregon, several black bloc clad antifa terrorists turned out to head off what they, for some reason, think are a bunch of racist white supremacists, one old man got caught up in fray. His truck was pummeled by debris, shattering windows and hitting him. As he gets out of his truck, the terrorists continue to throw objects at him as they close in. Surrounded and under direct threat, the old man draws his pistol and racks a round.
Now the big bad antifa thugs realize they’ve messed with the wrong guy, and they quickly back away, while continuing to yell at him.
Seconds later police come running in. Not to head off the violent antifa thugs, no no. After all, this is Oregon we’re talking about here. Cops draw their weapons and order the old man to the ground. He tosses his gun into the bed of his pickup truck as he hits the ground, arms outstretched. Riot cops come running as the old man is ordered to stay down and lock his fingers above his head.
The antifa militants cheer on the police as the old man is arrested. All for not wanting to become the victim of further violence from antifa.
There are multiple video angles of the incident:

Yes, the police are our friends. Until they’re not.
Coming to every place in the USA if present trends continue.
I just happened upon your post I posted this on another thread. You and I are on the same page.

Depends upon what part of the country you’re from; why isn’t it spelled “Oregun” then? Then too, my sarcasm is so sophisticated that people actually think I’m stupid.
Wish more people were aware of this law!!
It’s a very powerful, and broad in scope law, but more; it’s ethical and morally supported.
If you opt to run for office, you should be personally liable for using your office to enforce your whim, over the US Constitution and standing law. We need more people who know their rights, and the law.
The pronunciation is a long-standing bone of contention with Oregonians. It’s useful for enabling us to identify outsiders. Why isn’t it spelled “Warshington?”
Considering Oregon perhaps there should be a red line drawn through the gun.
Never heard anyone say it that way unless they were drunk.
Not as restricted as WA, from what I’ve heard.
That’s probably because you’ve heard Washingtonians saying it.
Not the point. I suspect the cops had no idea who was the aggressor and who is rightly defending themselves. The arrive and see a guy with a gun, they are going to disarm him first and ask questions later.
we know several old men that the police had better not try to arrest on such patently illegal charges!
And I will write it again. The police have picked sides and are the enemy.
Sorry, he was wrong to get out of the vehicle when he was able to exit the area. Now he’s going to lose his carry license and be unarmed in his home, an old man they will find and will terrorize. It’s a nobrainer that if you’re going to rally in d/t Portland, drive your son’s beater.
y’all can’t let antifa bait you. You can’t get emotional. It’s their life’s goal. They win, and they win propaganda points.
wait - update - Fox news just reporting the old man was not arrested. Shannon’s show 8:10pm California time
maybe somebody can second that info
