Mitt Romney knocked unconscious, suffers black eye, more than a dozen stitches after fall
Sen. Mitt Romney was knocked unconscious when he fell in Boston over the weekend, leaving him with “a lot of stitches” and a black eye. “I took a fall. Knocked me unconscious. But I’m doing better,” Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill Monday night.
The Utah Republican said he was visiting his grandchildren when he got injured.
“I went to CPAC, that was a problem,” he joked. Romney was not invited to the marquee event after receiving backlash over his vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
Asked how many stitches he received, Romney claimed he was not sure. “A lot. I don’t know how many. I asked the doctor how many stitches and she said, ‘I don’t know,’ but it’s all through my eyebrow and my lip.”
Yeah, it’s kind of instinctive to protect your head when you fall, so I don’t see too many people getting black eyes as a result of a fall.
Musta been hangin’ out with dingy harry reid
“...writing Co-ops...”
heh, heh, heh
Somebody delivered a message...
You have one of the funniest home pages I have ever seen! You seem like an intelligent man who loves to laugh!
Tripped over a dried pile of his own BULLSHIT!
When will Nancy trip and fall?
“...I asked the doctor how many stitches and she said, ‘I don’t know,’...”
*ROFLMAO*...Sure...The doctor didn’t know how many stitches she placed....SURRRRRRRRRE!!!!!!!!!!!
Caught cheating?
He’s a Mormon. How can he cheat?...............
You are exactly right. People protect their heads and faces. It’s a basic instinct.
Reminds me of the episode of Friends when Joey tells Ross to punch him. Long story short, Ross ends up getting punched three times while Joey skates. :) And of course, Gunther loves it.
We can only hope and pray.
The Botox might protect her though...

LOL! Good point!
There’s something wrong with the narrative or that is one incompetent doctor.
I am actually a computer algerith....algaerythma....program.
This is a very significant statement, especially coming from a former Republican presidential candidate.
Do you all know what this means? It means that the Establishment has been neutered and is in the process of not being able to reproduce.
What do I mean by that?
For many, many years the heart of the party, that is you and me and all of the people who do the party grunt work, have been pushed around and pushed aside by people like Romney and McConnell and Karl Rove, etc. We are supposed to just shut the heck up and let them manage it all.
They never did like pro-life Christians and they worked between actively dismissing the Christian Right and hiding that fact. Fundraisers were set up expressly to appeal to the "woke" Establishment Republicans to make sure pro-life Christians were heard as little as possible. "They" would pick all the top candidates and we would just have to eat it.
Rush talked about going to the Hamptons and being confronted by one of these Establishment guys who asked Rush what he was going to do about "those pro-lifers in the party, they are killing us." Thankfully Rush did not take any of that guy's advice.
Since 1984, there has been a growing effort among the RINO crowd to inflict their woke-ism into GOP thoughts, only to be countered by people with true principles pushing back on them. Every four years the battle was waged for the minds in the party as the party platform was written. And since 1984 the Republican party platform has become more and more conservative.
The leadership of Ronald Reagan encouraged the thinking of true conservatives to battle on. The work of Rush Limbaugh over a 30 year period encouraged us even further. So, we end up in 2016 and 2020 with a leader who matched our training in and love for true Constitutional principles - Donald Trump.
President Trump walked on that stage and gave a speech where every Establishment type received the very same treatment he reserved only for the fake media. He isolated the likes of Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell into the back of the room with no room at the table. THEY are the problem we face. Trump said he is not going to form a new party, and with the back of his upraised hand gave that former presidential candidate a drumming he will never recover from.
I remember back in the early 90s, at the precinct and district levels, the more progressive elements in the local Republican began to leave the grassroots, being exhausted as to the number of pro-lifers they had to deal with. Guess who took over? The pro-lifers did. Right now we are seeing the last hold outs, like Mitt and Mitch, battling it out hoping against hope that somehow they will be successful by defying Trump.
We want true principles upheld and if our representatives will not uphold them, then they need to get the heck out of Dodge.
That is what President Trump did during his speech. We finally have a leader who matches the sentiment at the grassroots and is willing to fight. And thank God for that.
Bub-bye Mitt!
Or a tall building.
