New polling indicates that more than a quarter of Americans have soured on the Union itself, and support dividing the nation into sovereign regional unions.

29% of Americans support the notion of their own region seceding from the Union and becoming a sovereign country. Polling on the matter conducted by Bright Line Watch, a neoliberal organization, suggests that support for secessionist ideas has increased considerably in the last decade, with polling in 2014 indicating that just under 24% of Americans supported regional secession.

The Republic of Texas will welcome other states who view Freedom and Liberty as being essential, to join us.

Question. What happens when these various Federation of States decide to form a Central Federal Government? History rhymes.

Actually, Secession would go a long way in eliminating the Illegal Immigration issue as well as getting those power hungry meddling idiots from other states and The Swamp out of our business. We have these items covered far better than you may imagine.

We are in pretty good shape on oil and natural gas as well. Even better once we remove DC from the equation.

Simple. Blockade the parasites inside their cities, send in no food, no water and no electricity. In several weeks, the problem will be solved.

Those who ignore the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.

I’ll put my money on Texas.

Yeah and they probably thought Texas having its own electrical grid was smart, too.

Open borders between states certainly undermined the concept.

That requires state political leadership with cojones.

If such folks exist, they are currently keeping a very low profile.

Agreed, next it will be “ It was all about slavery” in the South that promoted the war from the North”

And in comes the weather, every Winter the North was economically devastated, the wise merchants moved to the Southern area of the Country, gained wealth and position, Why?

Due to the fact that ALL Northern ports around that time were centralized at the (cough) Seat of power, held by the still British Dutch, Spanish, German etc, Mercantile “Kingdoms”

So for most of Autumn through to mid spring those ports were Dead in the water (pun intended) And the Political powers that be were owned by the Mercantile Groups.

It was pressure from those groups that eventually forced the “slavery is bad” news broadcasts, and that “we ban slavery and the south do not want to, so we will invade”.

It was in fact an invasion for Economic Reasons, Not on “humanitarian”

But then again I could h ave made it all up and all the history that is still “accurate” that you can dig though was all just lies written before, during, and after those times.

Blessings.

The divide will be metro vs rural.

If Pennsylvania could dump Philadelphia it would be a pretty good state. We can handle Pittsburgh.

More people and more money and more stuff means a larger, better equipped army. If it really comes down to violence, look to dissenters being driven out of the sparsely populated rural counties of the Democrat states and their place being taken by transplants from the cities. But it won’t come to war because people are happy sitting on their couches with their devices and recognize that smashing everything up benefits no one.

They might migrate away from the Central USA cities and go to coastal cities due to laws the Central USA passes like open carry for all. Right to work. No Unions. Drug testing for welfare people. Raising of edu standards. Mining, drilling and fracking allowed. Abortion outlawed. Two official genders. No gay marriage allowed. No freak trans in girl’s sports.

I’ll put my money on the gun owning, freedom-minded, know-how-to-grow-and-fix-things country folk over the metrosexual city idiots who can’t do anything without a cell phone. Just get the blockade lines established quickly and enforce them ruthlessly.

“How about just giving the 10th Amendment a little respect?”
Exactly! We do not need to divide into different countries.

The cities do tend to suck out all the states funding for themselves and then belly ache when they don’t get it.

Obama joined all the major cities mayors, at least the Demorat strongholds, to function as one unit.
