.......”I’m trusting people different than me less and less”......

I’ve now surpassed just less....and I also avoid them if possible. I miss viewing people as I once knew but the new breed out there now makes this impossible.

The problem is that the general government the STATES created turned the tables and now thinks of the States themselves as mere municipal subdivisions of the federation, something that NO ONE agreed to in 1787

Yeah, it changed a long time ago and the country continues in the wrong direction.

....”The divide will be metro vs rural.......The divide will be metro vs rural.....If Pennsylvania could dump Philadelphia it would be a pretty good state. We can handle Pittsburgh”.....

That was quite evident at the Trump rally numbers out here in Western Pa.

The Left wants to control everyone.

They would never support the existence of Free States.

I suspect more like the traditional United States of America vs. the nascent Soviet Socialist States of America. The point of course would be to make sure the latter doesn’t totally swallow up the former.

Nyet, nyet, nyet. The word “soviet” is roughly translated as “regional”. As in Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Or United Regional Socialist States of America. Or URSSA. Gee, what would that suggest as a mascot?

To me posting Polls as fact is akin to offering someone a sandwich made of Dog Poop and calling it steak...

Opinions are like the bodily orifice used for the expulsion of waste

Commonly known to the layman as crap

So using this as a diving board to post things like this to self aggrandize oneself with followers tells mew all I need or want to know about you

Self Identification without pressure

Henceforth all of your posts to me are material I find in a catbox needing scooping and put in the trash

Attention whores are so boring and easy to spot

“In the United States the elites are united in their effort to rip off and crush average folks—they have nothing to fight about...”

That Stalin icepick stuck in Trotsky Cuomo’s head tells a different story.

But it won’t come to war because people are happy sitting on their couches with their devices and recognize that smashing everything up benefits no one.

*************

You’re right about the passivity and apathy but I don’t think they recognize much of anything. Most people don’t give a damn about the concept of freedom and the value of their personal liberties, nor do they bother to think about the consequences of an overbearing government.

Now...back to our regularly scheduled TV sitcoms, movies, sports and our habitual attachment to social media. That’s all that really matters.

I’ve said several times I think secession is the only peaceful way out. Our divisions are too great to carry on without it coming to blows eventually.

That’s been the case for 155 years. That was when the Federal government usurped all kinds of powers the states never agreed to give it.

Yes, I like the idea...The blue states can tax themselves into failure, while the Red States will be successful. The Blue areas of Red states might not do as good as the red areas, but it will be better than red areas in blue states...

I’ll put my money on the gun owning, freedom-minded, know-how-to-grow-and-fix-things country folk over the metrosexual city idiots who can’t do anything without a cell phone. Just get the blockade lines established quickly and enforce them ruthlessly.

The US military plays a bigger role in this than either group. Timing is also important, as are public perceptions. I can imagine freedom-minded folks trying to quickly establish and ruthlessly enforce blockade lines getting the hell shot out of them.

“How about just giving the 10th Amendment a little respect?”
Exactly! We do not need to divide into different countries.

Yeah, it's a good thing that the left acknowledge and respect the 10 Amendment...
...except they don't.

From what I see that came about during the Great Depression in 1935, and I don’t think FDR would be against Texas doing that given the Construction work and labor at the time such a policy would require. I will look up more on that.

Naval blockades would be worse considering that carriers are in play now, something not in play in the 1860s, not to mention airplanes in general.
