PAUL: “Do you think it’s fair to have boys running in the girls’ track meet?”
CARDONA: “I think it’s appropriate for — I think it’s the legal responsibility of schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities, and this includes students who are transgender.”
PAUL: “So you don’t have a problem then with boys running in girls’ track meets, swimming meets? You’re okay then with boys competing with girls?”
CARDONA: “Respectfully, Senator, I think I answered the question. I believe schools should offer the opportunity for students to engage in extracurricular activities, even if they’re transgender. I think that’s their right.”
PAUL: “All right. Well, a lot of us think that’s bizarre. Not very fair. I come from a family that has a lot of girls who have been — have competed in college athletics, been state champions. And frankly, you know, some boy that’s 6’2” competing against my 5’4” niece doesn’t sound very fair. I think most people in the country think it’s bizarre. You know, it’s just completely bizarre and unfair that people — and you’re going to run the Department of Education, you’ve got no problem with it? That concerns me. And I think it’s this kind of thing is going to lead to really just the vast majority of America just wondering who are these people that think it’s okay, from what planet are you from? I mean, to think it’s okay that boys would compete with girls in a track meet and that somehow would be fair. I wonder where our feminists are on this? I wonder where the people who supported women’s sports are on this? Are we going to be okay with hulking 6’4” guys wrestling against girls? It just makes no sense whatsoever. And so I think the fact that you seem to be afraid to answer the question or you basically do answer the question by saying it’s okay without saying it’s okay, really is a statement to a real problem we have and a disconnect between what middle America and what most Americans actually believe. I even believe most Democrats don’t believe girls should run in a boys’ track meet — boys should run in a girls’ track meet. So I’m disappointed in the answer and I just I can’t imagine that we’re going to have a policy like that nationally.”
IN THE RACE FOR HOUSE SEATS EVERYONE RUNNING UNDER THE DEMON-O-CRAT LABEL VOTED FOR THESE TWO ISSUES
ABORTION FUNDING SUPPORT AND THIS. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE USED IN THE CONGRESSIONAL RACES BUT WAS NOT
FORCE Schools To Let Male Athletes Compete In Girls’ Sports...Any Dem congressman who didn’t support this got kicked out by holding their primary in remapped districts. This effort by those in control of the demo party shpould have been used to demonstrate where that party is coming from. Why weren’t those votes an issue in this 2020 campaign by the Republicans ? Not just where this occurred but nationally?
.. Democratic candidate for America’s Vice President California and likely presidential replacement Sen. Kamala Harris sponsored a Senate bill that would that would force funding public schools to allow biologically male athletes who identify as transgender on girls’ sports teams.
In March 2019, Harris cosponsored the Equality Act, which would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 . Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls

.. HERE’S HOW THEY TREATED CONSERVATIVE CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS WHO DONT SUPPORT FUNDING STUFF LIKE THIS
.. And why there is no such thing as a Conservative Dem in Congress An example is Illinois 3rd district
..
Todays Democrats weren’t happy with this father then son votes against abortion and the son’s being the only congressional democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports. To stop this the demoncrats decided to remap the areas which supported them for their 2020 primary.
The ward (the 23rd) and the congressional district formerly the 5th which they changed into being the 3rd Illinois congressional by taking ward areas which had areas dominated by hispanic fore names and placed them into the Louis Gutierez district.
In the reshaped 3rd Congressional district primary Daniel Lipinski lost because of this redistricting. Of a district which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd. which was “re-mapped in 2012 after former alderman and ward committeeman now congressman William O Lipinski annouced his retirement and wanted his son for his congressional replacement .
The remap was replacing ward boundaries of the 14th known as the stockyards which had experienced extensive demographic changes. They chopped up and placed sections of streets and blocks that were not only in the 23rd but the of adjacent 12th and 15th wards and made them the 14th ward
Now because Chicago alderman oversee routing of such things as garbage collections and getting city services . Some have complained of seeing rodents since as well as complained of poor road maintenance on their block. Because with this remap if your residence was in one ward your neighbor across the street or a block down is might be in another ward
.. The 5th was a district in the 1950’s which was a part of the third largest school district in the country run by the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Those city wards were primarily composed of dozens of traditional value family oriented Catholic/Christian communities centered around their churches and their schools. Hence opposed to funding such things as abortion and LGBT activities rather for issues that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway.
These Wards once were reliable supporters of Dan’s father, William O Lipinski. But after the 2012 redistricting the number of precincts in the 23rd were cut back to 39 and even their ward headquarters location was stuck in another ward.
And where many wards had areas with Hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to the Louis Gutieriez’s district. In areas where buildings were abandoned affected by the no money down home mortgages or had changed because of this. The ward such as the 14th known as Back of The Yards because of the former stock yards which has since relocated was remapped to include portions of other wards mainly the 23rd which Those results actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood and pit people against each other by using division.
In some of those wards areas of city blocks which were zoned exclusively for single family dwellings residents suddenly found their neighborhood having houses torn down and being replaced with multiple apartments with the units not required to furnish parking facilities and many renters were illegals. Much of which fit the plans for the suburbs

Middle America will finally understand you get what you vote for
Why would a boy want to compete in girls’ sports? Maybe in today’s culture that doesn’t seem like beating up smaller people, but the fact of the matter is men on average are taller, stronger and faster than women. That is not to say women can’t clean mens’ clocks in a number of sports such as gymnastics and figure skating or are on an even setting such as in swimming.
Middle America didnt vote for this jerk...see electoral map.
They had it shoved down their throat by theft in the large blue cities.
There were probably some suburban moms in Phoenix, Milwaukee and Atlanta who were repulsed by President Trump’s bombastic personality so they voted for “Nice Guy” Joe. Now Miss Joey Smith with a Johnson in “her” pants is in the locker room changing clothes with their daughters and no one is allowed to complain because that would be homophobic. All elections have consequences and we have to deal with the fallout just like New Mexico will experience an economic fallout due to its oil industry being denied to drill for oil on federal land in the state. But voters in New Mexico only have themselves to blame because they voted for Joe Biden.
BINGO
It’s absolutely not about fairness. It’s about pushing the freakazoid agenda down our throats.
Fair housing v. Environmental Movement.
I live in a development/community that is the very example of that clash. I’m the 80’s the developers and fair housing folks defeated the townships and environmentalists who wanted enforcement of minimum lot size restrictions.
Back then, long before I moved in, the developers and housing folks won. The result? My community looks as if every square inch is built on.
Today? The flat earth group is winning. They hold up this community as an example of the evils of development. You couldn’t build new construction around here if you tried.
The affordable housing groups are beside themselves and we get stuck in the middle. The governor mandates more affordable housing. We go to comply and are shut down by the Sierra club and others.
Wont be more than 2 generation til Hispanics are the majority ...but even then they will benefit from affirmative action.. it is a sin to be a non Hispanic white in America.
Yep

I’m so old I remember when DemocRATS pushed for girls to be allowed to compete in boys only sports. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
It is not fair to force slow running boys to compete with faster boys. They should get to compete with girls so that their egos can be massaged. Girls? they are just girls and should be glad to let the boys have that ego boost when they beat all the girls. Same goes for wrestling and basketball and all the other sports.
You sure it is unintended?
A boy would want to compete in girls sports because trust me he will win the state championship in that sport, if he has decent grades will then get offered a spot at Stanford, and promptly quit (if he so desires) and then graduate from Stanford and go on to a wealthy life. There’s only a 3% chance of getting admitted to Stanford etc unless you are a state champion in a sport.
It would be completely worth it to identify as a girl for a while in high school. And depending on the sport—scholarship $$ too.
This change is worth millions over a lifetime of the boys who do this. And more power to them! But as a parent of a high school female athlete—I’m sad for them.
Why stop there, moron? If an adult male identifies as a young girl and wants to go to school (why? I wanted to get out of school) are you going to say that he can? You are a nutcase..
First, regardless that INTRAstate schools are addicted to constitutionally indefensible federal funding, it remains that the states have never amended the Constitution to give the feds the specific power to stick their big noses into INTRAstate schooling. This is evidenced in a State of the Union address by President Thomas Jefferson, also the writings of Justice Joseph Story.
"On a few articles of more general and necessary use, the suppression in due season will doubtless be right, but the great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added; the states have never amended the Constitution to give Congress the specific powers to dictate, regulate, tax and spend in the name of INTRAstate schooling.].”—Thomas Jefferson : Sixth Annual Message to Congress
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"The power to regulate manufactures, not having been confided to congress, they have no more right to act upon it, than they have to interfere with the systems of education, the poor laws, or the road laws, of the states [emphases added]. Congress is empowered to lay taxes for revenue, it is true; but there is no power to encourage, protect, or meddle with manufactures." —Joseph Story, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1, Commentaries on the Constitution 2
”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Also, the only sex-related right that the states have expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to protect is limited to voting rights issues, evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
"19th Amendment:The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation [emphasis added]."
Again, Miguel Cardona needs to be disqualified as a nominee to constitutionally undefined Education Secretary because he seems to be clueless, like everybody else in Biden Administration, about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers imo.
Usually because the male is average to lousy at sports and cant beat other males but he has a better chance of beating the slower smaller girls at running and some of the sports...
Think high jump and long jump where at my 5’2’’ I was about the same height as the other girls and usually won the competition...I could not win if a much taller male decided to participate in the girls sports and not the boys where he would come in near the bottom...
and I was the center in our field hockey team..I would not want to go up against a 6’2” guy...
and Im disappointed that the locker rooms and showers werent mentioned...
Didnt AOC chime in about the possibility of girls being ogled and sexually abused ???
The Constitution was nullified by the “election” of 2020—sorry to deliver that news...
The creepy “Education” character is from my home state of CT—we have a lot more nutcases where he came from...
There was a time in a sane America when someone would feel a fool to even suggest something so stupid. First people would want to know if they were kidding, then if they were crazy or just stupid all just before running them out of town or institutionalizing them.
Why do we even need a department of education in the first place? I don’t see anything about regulating education in the 30 enumerated powers of the feral giverment in Article 1 of the Constitution.
Somebody show me where the Constitution says we shall have a department of education.
Thank you Rand Paul for letting us know there is at least one sane person present in DC who is not afraid to throw down the BS flag.
