Maybe the dam of ignorance about HCQ is breaking.

President Donald Trump touted it as a cure Did he literally state that? Or did he indicate that it could help people with the virus?

Now that Dementia Joe is President, hydroxychloroquine has become a miracle cure.

A new study out of New Jersey shows that the controversial antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine could help people with mild symptoms of COVID-19. It's absolutely disgraceful that the news media would rather have people die of COVID-19 than to give President Trump any credit for touting it.

HCQ is NOT a controversial drug.
The media has fabricated any controversy about it.

Hydroxychloroquine became a political controversy last year when former President Donald Trump touted it as a cure for COVID-19. He didn't tout it as a cure. He said there has been considerable success in treating people at the early onset of the virus.
To: CheshireTheCat
The truth about HCQ is that it is safer than aspirin and it can be given to pregnant women.

We knew this 9-10 months ago. Huge fail by the public health establishment, because Trump said something good about it, and #OrangeManBad.

When I see articles like this, I just laugh.
HCQ is “controversial”?
Since when?
Try telling that to the hundreds of millions of Africans who have been happily taking HCQ to effectively treat malaria for close to 70 years.
I myself have been taking HCQ for malaria for over 40 years without any problems whatsoever. In fact, on my more serious bouts with malaria in Africa, you could say, I'd be dead long ago without HCQ.

Andrew Yip, the director of the Division of Outcomes and Value Research at the John Theurer Cancer Center, cautioned people against jumping to conclusions about the drug, as it needs to be studied further before it is approved for use. I think we have located a candidate for "idiot of the year" award! Why is further study needed when there is adequate proof bad side effects are minimal and it is literally available over the counter in places like India.

New? Breaking News...last year.

“He did point out that the study found “less hospitalizations and not much toxicity” in patients who receive hydroxychloroquine, but “you still need to validate these findings” in a clinical trial. “
That has already been done across the world. What a bunch of deep state A-holes.

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Free everyone else.

Makes a discovery? What exactly did they discover that was found in the other 195 studies:
https://c19study.com/
It has been well established that HCQ is effective and safe, especially when given early in the disease cycle.
” ... further studies need to be done before the drug can be approved for use.”
The Western Journal is being deceitful. They want you to think nothing was known about HCQ’s effectiveness until now.

Andrew Yip, Director of the Division of Outcomes and Value Research at the John Theurer Cancer Center is the king of caution:
“Do not jump to conclusions about the drug”
“It needs to be studied further before it is approved for use”
“It’s not a cure, that’s definitely crazy”
“You still need to validate these findings in a clinical trial”
Maybe by 2030 they’ll have enough data to convince themselves. Same with Ivermectin.
To: CheshireTheCat
The claim about HCQ early last year was not that it was “a cure”. It was simply that it prevented outpatients from becoming inpatients.
Those who defamed HCQ killed 10s of thousands. Many wise physicians ignored the slander and put the cheap drug to its best use.
