A wins a win, I guess. Surprised Pelosi didn’t want this one too. It was Katie Hill’s district before she started doing home porn movies.

No, but we look good for 2022. It looks like the Dems are going to steal that house seat in NY State. Something like 18 votes in that one. One of those that the Republican had the lead all the way until the Judge inspected and allowed enough of the rejected absentee ballots to count for the Dem.

Looking good in 2022 to me means 66 Republican Senate seats.

A judge in NY allowed in some spoiled ballots, apparently enough to put the Dumb Dumb over the top by 13 votes.

Rejected ballots, not spoiled ballots. You are correct, sir.

No, but we look good for 2022.

Maybe, but they'll have to be a much different party to convince GOP voters that it is worth voting for them (and the signs after this election aren't promising). The days of "yeah, they suck, but at least they aren't DemocRats" are over. Trump's 4 years have shown that the GOP is badly flawed, and may very well be dead.

Scorecard is 222 D to 212 R. Looks like only one house seat not determined and that is NY 22 where the R finds themselves 13 votes down (I just checked). They had led until the last "count" apparently fixed up enough rejected absentee ballots to win it for the D.

Assuming that stays D, the scorecard is 223 D to 212 R. If it stays like that the good guys will have picked up 11 seats. They would only need to flip 5 in 2022 to take control. We will need to learn the new "legal cheating" by then to do so though. It looks like we did good getting new registrations and getting people out to vote in 2020.

I read somewhere before how we also came out good on state races key to redistricting.

Opps, we need to flip at least 5 seats in 2022 if we ultimately get NY 22, 6 seats if we lose that.

Actually, Tenney (the Republican) is up 13 votes. Of course the ‘RATS continue to search for fresh votes.

According to the Real Clear Politics website, the Republicans have officially gained 11(!) seats in the 2020 election and still have a good chance of picking up one more! The Dems now currently only hold a razor-thin five seat majority in the House:

Republicans: 212 seats
Democrats: 222 seats
(218 seats are needed for a majority)

There is only one remaining House seat that has not yet been called, which is the New York District 22 race where the the Republican challenger Claudia Tenney is leading the Democrat incumbent Anthony Brindisi by approximately 264 votes. That race is currently under judicial review. Should the results hold, the GOP will have gained 12 House seats overall.

So much for a “blue wave”!
