ANTIFA COMMAND STRUCTURE
ANTIFA COMMAND & CONTROL STRUCTURE IN FIELD ACTION. STRUCTURE, INSIGNIA AND OTHER IDENTIFIERS. Antifa tactical units are organized into standard ‘company sturctrure’ of up to 20 individual soldiers under the immediate control of a comany commander. While there are ‘special units’, most notable the ‘reconnaissance & coordination’ teams of bicyclists, the base of the C&C structure for Antifa is the company.
Company commanders are ‘first lieutenants’ and may be idenfied in the field by their actions within the group, and frequently by possession of DX SDR units of some form. These ‘duplex (send/receive) software defined radio’ units will be small, and most probably attached to a smart phone. It is through the SDR’s that the encrypted commands are passed to operational units. On arrest, 1st Lieutenants have been observed disarding their identifying equipment as well as destroying their phones.First Lieutenants can also be identified as being the local hub for bicycle traffic. In observations of rioting/looting activity, particularly with long distance videos of qualtity, bicyclists can cleary be seen reporting to 1st Lieutenants & even seeking them out in the mob. For this activity, bicyclists have been noted to employ ‘proximate apps’ to locate their units & commanders.

I read a blog every day called the Survival Blog owned by John Wesley Rawles, who has written a number of SHTF and Prepper books, he is a former Army Intelligence Officer and coined the term “The American Redoubt”....
One of his contributors posted the following article a few days ago, this person infiltrated several ANTIFA rallies in Michigan and observed fairly sophisticated counter-surveillance teams with the same individuals showing up in different places...
At those rallies, the teams were observed using a Baofeng UV-5R handheld radio, anyone who is a ham radio operator like myself recognizes the Baofeng as a cheap but effective small ham radio.
If they are using the public airwaves, it can be monitored and my plan is if we get a large ANTIFA rally in my city is to get close perhaps 1-2 miles away and setup a couple of scanner and radios, which I have to scan for chatter from ANTIFA.....

Reinoehl was mentally ill. Antifa specifically manipulated his psychosis and made him think he was a freedom fighter saving Portland. If you look at the nightly list of people arrested, you can see there are probably a dozen or more of these types of people from the homeless camps that this organization is using.

I’m a ham too, and I think a larger rig with a waterfall display would be helpful. Some, if not most of the transmissions will likely be short, and a scanner might not be quick enough to catch them. They’ve obviously programmed their Beofangs, so once you see a frequency active on the display, you can do the same.

I have 3 scanners I can use, you could setup one to do 2m, another 70cm and another for FRS, MURS, etc....
I have a Uniden SDS 100 that can pickup P25 Trunked groups and digital, etc.....
Plus I have a couple of the Baofengs and a Yaesu Handheld that can be setup as scanners....
But you are right something with a waterfall of entire range would allow you to see activity and move right in on it..

I do think it interesting to note particularly the laws on the books for both Oregon and Washington, which when read, will clearly show the failure of local and state authorities to enforce their own laws. This article, if true, and there's no reason to believe it's not, clearly defines antifa as a prohibited organization in many, many states.
It's just a matter of having these laws enforced.
