Reminds me of a Korean War incident. An ex-Marine said that the Chinese used bugle calls to control their troops. During one human wave attack, a guy in their company knew how to blow a bugle and used a captured one to sound "Retreat". While they were milling about in confusion, the artillery was called in and cleared the field.
