.Black Lives Matter supporters ran over a raccoon twice before beating it to death with a baseball bat and posting it online in a horrific act of animal cruelty.
The incident took place in New York City, as onlookers watched and cheered.

I’m not on social media myself. FR keeps me pretty busy.
The raccoon is probably more successful than they are, and they took it out on the poor creature. Lowlifes. The country would be better off without them.
I put it on FB and turned off the choice of several liberal friends NOT getting to see it, with the title “Remember In November”.
Probably going to jail for it.

However, what we see in that video is what we have seen those types of people do to other people.
People they disagree with. People that they have power over. People they hate.
Killing is one thing, there are some animals that need killing. Enjoying it is something else.
It never had a chance.
I can only pray the first hit put it into shock so it didn’t feel the rest.
It blows my mind that this was done, let alone filmed and shared as a “good thing”.

Raccoons are infamously urban dwellers.
I only wonder why it was so near that mob.

I’m sure you can imagine how their dogs are treated, all too often.
I’m about ready to bait a trap.
It’ll be interesting to see how they corkscrew-logic *this* into being “valid” and “understandable”.
I live on the edge of Austin’s city limits. We’re surrounded by smaller towns, so we’re pretty built up. But nothing like the steel and glass canyons of NYC. Still, I’ve seen: deer, armadillos, coyotes, feral pigs, turkey vultures, foxes, some turtles (including snappers), skunks, snakes (including brilliant green grass snakes), and opossums. I’ve heard owls of various types and have seen chimney swifts, barn swallows, cardinals, robins, grackles, ravens, crows, blue jays, red-wing black birds, egrets, a blue heron, red-tail hawks, monk parakeets, altimira orioles, and bats.
While that is very true, there is a subset of “culture” that just feels no empathy towards other living beings and do stuff like this for “fun”.
They may never graduate to humans but they will, in their lifetimes, kill a lot of animals.
Wasn’t it Whoopi who said “dogfighting is their culture”, when she defended Vick?
That is even more brutal and sadistic than this because the dogs are tortured many times, before they finally die.
