By force-feeding its viewers an unwanted diet of systemic racism and social justice, ESPN has thinned its viewership to an all-time low. The blundering miscalculation sank ESPN's audience this week to the lowest numbers in its 41-year history. Good luck defending this hair-brained strategy to your advertisers, ESPN.
Clay Travis, of Fox Sports Radio and a frequent ESPN "Woke Center" critic, put it all into perspective on his Outkick The Coverage blog.:
"The network, which has become more left wing than MSNBC and CNN combined over the past several weeks, has completely abandoned sports coverage. The result? Viewers, many of whom were willing to watch the channel even during a pandemic disaster with limited sports to consume, have abandoned it in droves. How bad was it? We’re talking full-on crisis mode level awfulness."

last night watching the late night reruns of the Golden Girls, they had at least 4 commercials in a row featuring black people....not coincidence.....
I can’t wait until we have “pick and choose” cable/satellite. Every sports channel, especially ESPN, will be the first thing that we’ll be dumping.
Let’s be fair: There are no major sports highlights to show and talk about. That said, I’m quite fine with ESPN suffering financially.
Who could have guessed that wall to wall conversations about race would be a ratings disaster.

I have not had the TV on in weeks .... for ANYthing. No FOX, no sports ...
If I want news, I get it online where I can pick my sources. Instead of “woke/joke” TV, I listen to podcasts ... if I don’t like an episode, I can mark it played/delete it. Most of what I listen to is “true crime” ... pretty sad when that is less depressing than current TV/news.

They are doing so much damage to race relations. Everyone is going for symbolism over substance.
You want to help? Shut your mouth and go out into disadvantaged communities and listen to what they need and then help them get it.
Mentor a child, not just in education but in giving them and their parent(s) a sense of hope.
Teach money sense and great ways to save toward owning a home.
If you have money (are you listening NFL and NBA players) set up a way of helping deserving people get financing.
Help train young adults, set up your own personal apprenticeship program. If you are a plumber, an electrician, a carpenter, take a young person under your wing and train them. Some of these trades pay a lot more than a college degree.

It is, except in this time of TDS, even Trump’s hair (color/style) can cause people to lose their minds. :-)
Instead of being a sports show, it’s a woke show lecturing whites that we are all racists. If I wanted that message, I will be watching CNN.
