Trump tweeted about Seattle on Wednesday and Thursday after several prominent conservatives expressed shock over the protesters’ activities. He said that “Domestic Terrorists” had taken over the city.
“Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before,” Trump tweeted. “Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!”
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan on Thursday pushed back against President Trump’s threat to “take back” the city after protesters camped out around a police station near downtown, vowing to resist any effort by Trump to use force to disband the demonstration.
“We do not need anyone, including the president, to try to sow further divide, further distrust, and misinformation,” Durkan (D) said in a news conference. “The threat to invade Seattle, to divide and incite violence in our city is not only unwelcome, it would be illegal.”
But one Facebook event alleges that Bikers For Trump are ready to defy the major’s orders and will retake the Autonomous Zone.
The event states:
On July 4th, Independence Day,a coalition of patriot groups and all who want to join are going to retake the Capital Hill Autonomous Zone for America. Antifa members are illegally occupying public property and terrorizing small businesses in the neighborhood. American patriots have agreed to come together again, remove the barricades illegally obstructing traffic, and free the people in the zone. We are not going to hurt anybody, break the law, etc. We are simply going to tear down the illegal barriers on public property, clean up the mess these communist kids made, and return the police station over to Seattle Police Department control
*The staging area will be Seward Park. The parking lot can handle roughly 10,000 bikes easily.

THAT is all Trump should say about it. Leave it to the Washington and Seattle voters.
First off I don't believe it and second, it would be a YUGE mistake. Every day this makeshift, flea bag, tent city stays up is a win for Trump. Let them self destruct. A week or two is the most I see that lasting.

I am sure that they are fully capable of sowing divide, distrust, and misinformation all by themselves, thank you! They mayor, the govenor and their minions seem to be doing just fine in destroying their city and state.

The is a remarkably bad idea. As the WSJ pointed out, this camp is an example of leftest excess that is doomed to fail. BLM is fighting with Antifa. BLM says ANTIFA is taking its message. Let’s show it off - it will collapse on its own. The bikers will do Trump no favors - there will be violence, innocent people will be hurt, and Trump will turn victory into defeat.
I wonder who is advising him? Who will this stunt win over? Now, the Chief of Police in Seattle is echoing Trump’s concerns. Invade the place, and watch her turn.
I’d like to see this fester as long as possible. Seattle is getting what it deserves.
The media will bring up Waco, Ruby Ridge, every gov't op since Wounded Knee. The Dem blood dance will last for weeks.

I agree. Let them stew in their own juices. Having Bh tikers for Trump go in there would redound negatively on Trump,even if by July 4th, most of Seattle would be calling for it, and the idiot and feckless Mayor would emerge triumphant, receiving a ton of unearned sympathy.
