If you believe a new survey, Germans are turning to China in the wake of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.
Germans view the United States less positively since the outbreak of the coronavirus crisis while their attitudes toward China have improved, the German public broadcaster DW News reported citing the survey. The broadcaster added that 73% stated that their opinion about the United States had deteriorated due to the current health crisis caused by the novel coronavirus, compared to only 36 percent who looked more unfavorably towards China since the outbreak. Coronavirus turns Germans more critical of US, the DW News concluded.
Overall, thirty-six percent of Germans want their country to have closer ties with China, as opposed to 37 percent who still prefer the United States. But the pro-China sentiment was much higher among young Germans.

Germany will be a Muslim nation in 50 years...who cares what they think?
Perhaps this is because they’ve read Xi Jingping’s autobiography where he states that the people he admires most in history were Mao, Stalin, and Hitler. He especially liked Hitler’s approach to ethnic cleansing which may be why Chinese virologists have published papers on how viruses can be genetically modified to only infect certain ethnic groups like Quighurs or Tibetan Buddhists.
Becase Germans have a thing for one-party dictatorships run by megalomaniacs with delusions of taking over the world.
Well, head on over and enjoy.
Young Germans dont know a whole lot about anything that is real. They just think they know everything.
With apologies to Judge Robert Bork, “Slouching Towards WWIII”...
I spend 2 1/2 years in Germany while I was in the Army and I can attest to the fact that they absolutely, unequivocally are as stupid as their ancestors. Beautiful country (especially Bavaria) and some outstanding beers (Czech is better), but their education system is more F’d up than ours; communism is everywhere.

Vee verr busy fighting der var in 1918.
And the US kicked you ass, right?
[dejected] Jah, unt then again 25 years later.
Yeah, so we kicked your daddy’s ass and then his childrens’ ass.
Jah.
Too bad I wasn’t around to hear the lamenting of your women.
Chinese girls are easy. Period. Paragraph.
Well, no, actually, a majority of Germans never freely voted for Hitler's National Socialists.
It was more a case of a highly disciplined gangster minority seizing power from weak & feckless (small -r) republicans.
Let me think... where else might that happen?
Oh... I know..., call on me teacher!
I spent 3 years stationed in Berlin back in the 80s. After the wall fell, it was time to leave - now it is past time. Let Germany defend itself and prop up the EU, Ive must stop supporting them thru defense spending.
Im sure Taiwan would love some US armored divisions on their soil right about now.
Germany siding with Iran and China was predictable ... they’ve been moving in that direction for years.
Scheisskopfs!
They do. Peel the veneer back and today’s Germans are exactly like the old Germans
Its the socialism part of their brain acting right there! Normal people would not think that way. Probably would support a leader again with the name of Adolph!
Lieblings KrautKopfen!
Maybe we have too much military presence in Germany.
The young krauts overwhelmingly admire china’s lack of diversity.
Once all the Germans were warlike and mean,
But that couldn’t happen again.
We taught them a lesson in 1918
And they’ve hardly bothered us since then.
In a few years, when Germany completes its transition to an Islamic State, a war will end up with us having to fire bomb Dresden et al all over again...
Next time let's hope the U.S. doesn't waste lives and money on a lend-lease European-recovery program again... Europe has been, and continues to be, a endless sinkhole into which the U.S. pisses away hard-earned taxpayers money...
