A SCIENTIST from Netflix documentary series Pandemic says his team has discovered a potential coronavirus cure.
The COVID 19 infected at least 800,000 and killed nearly 39,000 globally.
In the U.S. we have 165,482 cases and 3,186 deaths.
It seems that Americans will come to the rescue yet again.
The bioengineer Dr. Jacob Glanville said his California-based team has been working around the clock trying to come up with a drug to beat Covid-19.
And yesterday he announced they might just have found one.
CBS8 in San Diego reported: A California scientist and his team say they have found a potential cure for COVID-19.
News 8 introduced you to Dr. Jacob Glanville of Distributed Bio a couple of weeks ago. He’s one of the doctors featured in the Netflix show “Pandemic.” His team in the Bay Area has been working around the clock trying to come up with a drug to treat COVID-19. Monday he announced he believes they’ve found one.
“We are happy to announce we have completed the engineering and we have some very potent antibodies that can be effective against the virus,” said Dr. Glanville.

Well, looks like good news upon good news with treatment regimes. Between this, HCQ/Zinc/Z-packs and some other anti-virals, we should be able to bring down the death rate even further, especially for those most at risk.
Has it been tested on a human yet?
Unless drugs are currently approved by FDA (like hydroxy and z-pak), a new drug discovery would be way out.
Unless the FDA is told to pull back it’s arrogance many potential remedies will not even get clinical trials.

Have you watched the show? I see it on Netflix but have not watched yet so I’m wondering...is this Dr. for real or a media construct?
People allowed to work freely, under their own rules, conditions and resources, will create an incredibly broad and diverse amount of outcomes and solutions. Simply by statistical variance, many of those solutions will be useless, but some excellent ones will be produced as well, and they will come to the fore.
Just another reason why statism, top-down regulation and collectivism ALWAYS fail.

I'm sure Congress will write themselves a little exemption to that...
I dont know about you guys but when I questioned my local primary care about these meds he said no way.
Unless the CDC approves it and local docs start using them he and other primaries in our area will not prescribe them.
So where can we get these drugs when these local doctors wont prescribe them when we need them??
Polio is a virus.
The fda did allow, the CDC is dragging its feet/
If you mean like an antibiotic for a bacterial infection? No.
But there are anti-viral drugs such as Tamiflu that mitigate the effects of a flu virus.
