Maybe I’m an idiot, but I was under the impression that no one has ever found a “cure” for a virus? If you mean like an antibiotic for a bacterial infection? No.
But there are anti-viral drugs such as Tamiflu that mitigate the effects of a flu virus.

But there are anti-viral drugs such as Tamiflu that mitigate the effects of a flu virus. True. Maybe I'm not being fair. I just sense that "curing" a virus isn't the same as mitigating the effects of the virus. It just seems bold to talk of a cure.
