A year ago, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) announced its aim to flip Texass 21st District. Its a longtime GOP seat, held by freshman Rep. Chip Roy and for three prior decades by the equally conservative Lamar Smith. Republican win margins have tightened there over time, but Democrats still need some right-leaning voters to split their tickets. So, theyre gearing to nominate Wendy Davis?
The former state senators 2013 filibuster of pro-life legislation, her failed 2014 gubernatorial campaign, and her subsequent nonprofit work have made her nationally famous for abortion liberalism. Her reality is more complicated; she is extreme on much else.
In a September interview, the Texas Tribunes Evan Smith asked Davis for her take on global warming, adding a word of caution. Theyll turn you into our version of [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] as it relates to this issue if you allow them to, he said, referring to the socialist congresswoman from Bronx, NY, who authored the notoriously slapdash, imperious Green New Deal to address climate change.
Daviss answer, especially after Smiths warning, was stupefying: We are at that point that if my generation and the generation below me doesnt do something drastic about it right now, my grandchildren are inheriting a planet that literally is unsustainable. And Ive been talking to college-age kids
Part of their analysis is, Should I even have children? Am I going to have children in a world that literally is unsustainable? People are afraid, justifiably. (This from the author of a memoir titled Forgetting to Be Afraid.) Ocasio-Cortez herself had already discussed childbearing in like fashion. Theres scientific consensus that the lives of children are gonna be very difficult, she said in an Instagram video months earlier. And it does lead, I think, young people to have a legitimate question...

Lunatic mad women.
Avoid.
Oh yes, this person who acted as an apologist (of sorts) for Kermit Gosnell.
Isnt she Abortion Barbie?
In the past 20 years Ive encountered a lot of dont want any kids women.
One got pregnant unexpectedly, had her daughter, eventually married someone else briefly and is happy for her child (nearing 10 years) but is still fiercely pro-abort.
The cultural indoctrination is strong. Even brings her kid to protest rallies.
Wonder if the daughter will ever ask what happened to her siblings?
“Urine Bag Barbie”
Abortion Barbie is ready to put on her moldy sneakers and collect any campaign cash that might be available after the newer fraudster, Robert Beto ORourke, ripped off gullible Texas Dems last year.
At least, Beto was a native scam artist. Davis is a carpetbagger from Connecticut, one of those East Coast transplants who should have been kicked out of Texas politics long ago, along with Sheila Jackson Lee, a New Yorker.
Wendy first ran as a Republican in Texas.
As is their custom, Democrats ran as Republicans when the Democrats were swept from power. Thats how RINOs roll.
Chip Roy is very much a “Ted Cruz” type of Republican. I was in his district before I left the country. Seems like a good man. Certainly better than Abortion Barbie. The district currently cuts a swath from northwest San Antonio through the Hill Country and up to the western Austin suburbs. This explains why there are both liberal and conservative pockets.
Roy is vulnerable and I will be praying for his re-election.
Immigration from California, New York, and Mexico is slowly turning Texas purple.
And it is sad.
Abortion Barbie is looking kind of old.
The commies billed Patty Murray as “a mom in tennis shoes.”
>>>The commies billed Patty Murray as a mom in tennis shoes.<<<
I guess it sounded better than calling her “a Moron in Tennis Shoes”.
In case you didn’t know that the lunatic Abortion Barbie is running for a Republican House seat in TX (Dist. 21) against freshman Chip Roy.
