Who wants to participate in a music play-off bracket-type poll for best songs of the '70s?
2 and 5 years ago I ran "tournaments" to pick the best songs of the '70s and '80s, based on Billboard rankings, so only the best of the best were included!
You can view how this played out here:

I want to do that for the '60s, and some posters expressed interest in the '60s back then.

Cool. Keep me in the loop.

Count me in! This was a lot of fun last time. The 60s are a bit far back for me, but I do have some favorites from that era!

The 60s on 6 chsnnel on SiriusXM just did a new years vote for the top 600 and then played them in sequence. It will be interesting to see hoe they compare.

I would recommend two lists. One of the obvious major songs that were huge hits (Hey Jude, Runaway, Good Vibrations) and one for great songs that werent big sellers and didnt get a lot of airplay. Basically exclude any Beatles songs. That would probably make it a bit more interesting.

Oh I just heard the 50s doing top 500. Must be same principle on all the stations.

Now, is it going to be ‘60s music, including Country, Adult Contemporary (e.g. Rat Pack, Dionne Warwick), pop, and rock and roll? Or is it limited to pop/Rock and Roll?

Pop. Which means popular.
Which means anything. Back then, the lists were much more eclectic than since the 60s. With some brief exceptions.
