Football is brutal.
How does Brady do it?
Young Andrew Luck retired, at 29.
Not to take anything away from Blanda, but he only started one game at QB in his last nine years in the NFL and didnt have more than 60 pass attempts in any of those last nine seasons.
Brady made a deal with Satan.
very aware thanx I used to watch every game on Sundays No more for three years.
BINGO!! Deflate your balls and you will play for a long time!
But just think, medical science will save the shrinkage issue. Well that and a good air compressor and an inflation needle. Remember ya gotta weigh those boys before you go out to play the game. Its a here hold my junk and watch this baby. Moment.
You are right, Blanda was the backup. Just as I said earlier tho, when the starter was injured and Blanda came in the team did not miss a beat.
It was the same with Zeke Bratkowski with Green Bay. When Starr was injured he would come in and seem just as good.
George Foreman won the heavyweight title at the age of 45.
Yes, he had a good offensive line. But he also voluntarily took a huge cut in pay so his team could pay for good players in other positions so his team could win. Under salary cap rules, he took virtually half of what Peyton Manning gobbled up so his team could be better. And frankly, when push came to shove, Brandy was worth double the pay of Manning for his accomplishments.
I watched him play his college ball. He already had the mental toughness and will to make his team better. You could see how much he galvanized his lesser team mates when he played.
It was shocking that he was drafted in the sixth round.
I remember Rush Limbaugh criticizing him before playing his first superbowl for being a nobody. I tried calling for an hour to tell him how wrong he was.
The man is simply driven, a once in a generation athlete.
He’s the Trump of football.
Wheaties. Breakfast of Champions!
Does the NFL test for HGH?
Freegards
Tom isn’t exactly human. He’s a demigod, like Achilles. And I say this as a Raiders fan...
George Blanda was the oldest player in the history of the NFL. He retired at the age of 48, just short of his 49th birthday.
Brady’s had more “luck” than Andrew Luck.
He hardly runs, keeps his arm in shape, and can hit a fly 40 yards away.
Precisely why Brady is still around. He took smaller paydays and said use the money to give me a great Oline.
Brady for CA Governor in 2022 would be cool.
“Deflate your balls ...”
This can be accomplished over time by having a vasectomy.
Not only that. But win titles. The dude is G-d of quarterbacks
My iggles only won in 18 with ONE defensive strip and revovery
Even after 1100 total yards
Even so until that damn Hail Mary dude three still had us all not wanting to watch
Then. It hit the ground And the celebration was on
The only division with a winning record against mr Brady in Super Bowls
The NFC east
back then, game was nowhere near as violent as it is now.
