Government sponsorship of violence against opponents or complacency in the face of incitement to violence is a powerful tool of political repression. Regimes such as Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Nicaragua, China, and other tyrannies have used such tactics to great effect. When mobs attack anti-government demonstrators, for example, the police either disappear or stand by watching. In American cities run by Democrats and on the U.S. college and university campuses, the authorities increasingly have been standing by as radicals do the dirty work of beating up or silencing conservatives.
In societies riven by mutual hate, the people who control the police and public communications make all the difference. When they maintain impartiality, as did Germanys Weimar government while the Nazis and Communists struggled for primacy, partisan warfare tends to be resolved politicallythough the results are harsh. When societal hatred or the partiality of authorities results in deaths, long-smoldering cold civil war can blaze into holocaust.
We Americans are now facing the danger of a civil war thus ignited. We do not think of civil war this way because our Civil War from 1861 to 1865 was less a conflict within society than it was a highly organized war between states. That war notwithstanding, personal friendships and mutual esteem persisted on both sides, such as that between Ulysses S. Grant and prominent Confederate General James Longstreet.

Sounds like a great idea!
What kind of uniforms will we have? You don’t want to shoot people on your own side?
It is going to be Rwanda, no uniforms.
At the gas station today, a woman came up and asked if I would put air in her tire. I asked if she supported Trump. She said “no”. I said that’ll be $10. She was like “what?” Told her I was sick of the democrats crap. She walked off to ask someone else.
Watch V for Vendeta and see how elites are de-fanged.
“Our Civil War really was remarkably civil compared to most.
The next one wont be.”
That’s a fact.
Which will be crushed.
Or be delayed by the second Trump term.
They hold the majority of activists now. Trump will not be allowed to win, perhaps not allowed to run. This will be accomplished by any means necessary.
Oops, no more Trump fighting for America. That leaves no one.
Well, maybe childs cartoons will be wielded by the play patriots.
Call me late to the Party, but Dayton brought everything into focus for me.
The ‘rats want a Mao Cultural Revolution ASAP.
Destruction of our communication systems, roads, railroads and shipment of food and other things we need daily will make us worse than any third world $hithole country in weeks.
I have tried to tell people that for YEARS.
At this point, I truly don’t have a problem with that. In fact, I would welcome it.
That will happen anyway if not worse when the Democrats get control again
*ping to a good article*
The author makes a chilling case for how we are being herded into CWII by our billionaire elites.
A MUST-READ.
In fact, if you never read anything else on FR -read this article.
While I agree that we are close to the edge, there might be a way around it? If people can somehow, wake up to the fact that we our being played by the elites , as the author explains. Maybe then we can direct our anger toward those who deserve it, instead of one another?
And if people can somehow be taught our Constitution, shown its value to each person, maybe we can demand better from our politicians? (And immediately recall or vote out any with corrupt or tyrannical tendencies.)
Then again this would assume we still have Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, and Freedom to Assemble. (That is debatable at this point.)
But if we and our useless politicians (Except POTUS and a few others who are trying), really challenged these people on their oppressive ,nightmare ideas, hopefully, many people would turn away from them if they understood what the demrats intend to inflict on citizens.
Pray for us that we wake up.
There is a point beyond which a man. if he is a man, does not back up. I’m done with these people and, at this point, I’m just waiting...
There were a few stories of this, particulary near the Mason Dixon line where soldiers truly were neighbors with opposing forces.
But another point to consider is that during the Civil War, neither side _wanted_ a war. It was truly the last thing anyone was looking for, and the last thing anyone wanted to participate in. Regardless of what of our movies showed us.
There were families to raise, farms to tend and each soldier left behind people who needed them to be alive and effective.
In our next war, we will see two factions who WANT war, will have the ability to care for those left behind (Through tech and supply chain improvements) and will have a lesser problem going to battle with the next town over.
Newark NJ would go to war with Bayonne NJ today, much less an orange county New Yorker supporting the carpet bombing of a west virginia coal town.
