Yup. Looks like just west of where it hits Foxhall, which you can see going uphill on the left of the photo. Had many occasion to drive through there. There is a short stone wall on the right that is impeding the water from draining away. The height of that wall is pretty much how high the water is. Otherwise it’d continue straight downhill to the river.

That pic was taken on Canal Road near Fletcher’s Cove. Been there, done that. Generally great striper and perch fishing during the spring shad run. Even hooked into an eel once when the tide was coming in. I didn’t know they just added swim-up curbside service. Fletcher’s Boathouse and Fish Market. *chuckle*
