A guy named Simon Galperin just wrote this article, which is titled, “Im a 29-Year-Old With $235k in Student Debt. Ill Never Pay It Back.”
Galperin’s statement that he will never pay back his student debt is not because of a medical issue that has rendered him unable to work.
Instead, his statement is proof that he is irresponsible, lazy, spoiled, and entitled.
He also says he believes that innocent taxpayers should be forced to pay off his student debt, so that he can then get a mortgage to buy a house.
If Galperin ever does apply for a mortgage to buy a house, I hope that any bank that considers giving him a mortgage will come across this article that he wrote, and realize that he is an absolutely horrible credit risk.
The internet is forever, Simon.
And apparently Simon never in his entire life took a course in basic math.
As my sainted Granddad used to say Stupid is supposed to hurt.

Mortgage? try getting a car loan.
My suggestion is to not pay your debt, vote for Bernie, and stay in your parents’ basement.
All will be well.
Don’t give him a credit card either.
I bet there are exactly zero math courses involved in getting a BA degree in "Journalism and Media Studies"; likewise zero math courses involved in getting an MA degree in "Social Journalism".
The guy was completely ripped off by the colleges he attended. He should sue them for fraud and hopefully he gets triple damages. LOL!!
LOL!
A doctor here wanted to buy a house. Couldn’t get one as he owed on loans from Med School which he had graduated from 15 years prior. No mortgage for you, Dr M.
Simon informs us that he has no less than a Master’s degree in “Social Journalism”, which apparently consists of posting self-righteous screeds about his own entitlement. I could be wrong but I think we’re supposed to feel sorry for him. Apparently that Master’s didn’t equip him to figure out that if he offloads that $235 K to the taxpayers, he’s one of the taxpayers that gets to shoulder it. Assuming, that is, that he manages to find employment in “Social Journalism”.
$235k, would be a small mortgage..........
Maybe he can extend his studies at Oberlin.
There is an opening in the colleges public relations department.
If, and only if you have a barf-bag handy it’s worth reading the article.
This clown is a first generation immigrant who is now forcing his parents to cover his debts. He says there was no other way to pay for his education than to go into this amount of debt, to which I say Bullsh*t!
Now he expects the rest of us who managed to pay our own way to use the fruits of our labors to cover the costs of his foolishness.
And this guy has a 'journalism' degree.............
In a previous life, I knew a man who had literal destroyed a multimillion dollar family fortune. When people asked him where it had went, he replied "I spent half of it on booze and women and the other half I spent foolishly."
What did this deadbeat get his degrees in? Transgender lyrical poetry? FemiNazi STD studies? Black Tranny Reparations Activism?
Basic math used to be taught in High School.

I understand all of the posters’ irritation but I also look at our young people being saddled with such monstrous debts, and the poor value they have received for it. This is not the way it used to be, and we need to return to what was the way in the past.
One of the many reasons I despise Hillary Clinton is because she spoke for education reform and the horrible debt being put on our young people. And in all her wrongheadedness, she was right about this one thing. She could now be the champion for this, she could be at the forefront calling for reform and really taking a leadership position in changing this, and have a real victory. But instead all she does is whine about her well-deserved loss.
In addition to your student loan, you’re on the hook for this, Simple Simon...
