On Monday, the world reacted in horror as the nearly 900-year old Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was nearly completely destroyed by fire.
Horrific flames quickly engulfed the entire core structure, and after 2 hours, the iconic spire collapsed, along with most of the roof and its 210 tons of lead.
That's what we know.
Here's what we don't: What caused it?
Well the media seems to have focused on one reason, and one reason only: the cathedral was "under construction" -- a reported $7 million project lasting years, and scheduled to complete just this year.
Therefore the most logical reason, absent obvious foul play, is a "construction accident."
FoxNews and most other nets treated it as such:
Given the scope of the renovations, it is quite likely a "welding spark ignited paint thinner" or any other cause widely speculated in media reports, that can typically occur on a busy construction site.
But there's just one big problem with that.
Two hours after the spire collapsed, French-Greek journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis reported that there were no construction workers onsite at the time of the fire:

God allowed it? I don’t think it was His will since a fire could have happened anytime in the past 850 years.
Not for the first companies on the scene. Typical response times in New York, Boston, Chicago, etc. are much less than that.
Additional responding companies may have taken longer of course due to the greater distance. I haven't seen any photos showing more than three water tower trucks on site.
In the early 80s, I had a clock-coffee maker. One afternoon, I noticed some sparking in the dark kitchen and smelled burning plastic. When I checked to see what was going on, the wiring in the clock had shorted and the ‘innerds’ actually caught fire. I unplugged and got it to the sink. Had I not been home or had been asleep, I would have had a major fire.
In the early 2000s I walked by a large 17-inch tube-type computer monitor. The computer and monitor were turned off. I noticed some smoke, heard some sizzling and smelled burning plastic. The ‘innerds’ in the monitor had started burning. Luckily, I was able to unplug and douse. Again, had I not been home or had been asleep, I would have had a major fire.
They can happen. There are numerous stories of appliances and TVs starting fires.
Well so far no muzzie group has come forward. Usually after something like this they’d be out in the street yelling aloha snackbar or some such.
Just a piece of intel from a friend with connections to the DIA. Macron has closed the roads in and out of Paris.
No sprinkler system?
No fire abatement plan?
Seriously?
Use to be that we had to wait for 20-100 years for revisionist history to be written... Now we get it instantaneously...
BTW, in another few years, government schools will add new facts to their revisionist history curriculum:
From a later thread:
The fire started up near the roof top while another fire started in the north bell tower.
Arson.
If true that seems to narrow the possibilities considerably and strongly suggests a dragnet for perps is underway.
Why would there be no construction workers on a Monday? Was today a holiday in France?
48 hour rule. Most is guesswork at this point.
Where, do you have a link to that joyous celebration?
“So, if there were no construction workers on the site, ho was there - after the tourists were locked out?”
“Occam’s razor is the problem-solving principle that essentially states that “simpler solutions are more likely to be correct than complex ones.” When presented with competing hypotheses to solve a problem, one should select the solution with the fewest assumptions. Wikipedia”
Islam?
“Arson investigations are completed in less than a day? Not likely. I’d like to hear more about why it took two hours for the fire department to arrive. “
I’m thinking they knew right away to expect it to be terrorism, and wanted to avoid the old wait until help arrives before detonating the second one ploy.
The cops get to go home tonight, and since no one was alleged to have been inside at the time, they can continue the false news charade forever.
CAIR has to be gearing up now to defend their terrorist BFF’s tomorrow.
Do you claim they are ALL construction accidents?
The women who tried to burn Notre Dame down in 2016 were in trial recently.

That is a face I would punch.
Less than one month ago, on March 19, the historic Saint-Sulpice the 2nd largest church in Paris (next to Notre Dame) was set on fire in what police say was not an accident.
Two hours after the spire collapsed, French-Greek journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis reported that there were no construction workers onsite at the time of the fire.
