On Monday, the world reacted in horror as the nearly 900-year old Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was nearly completely destroyed by fire.
Horrific flames quickly engulfed the entire core structure, and after 2 hours, the iconic spire collapsed, along with most of the roof and its 210 tons of lead.
That's what we know.
Here's what we don't: What caused it?
Well the media seems to have focused on one reason, and one reason only: the cathedral was "under construction" -- a reported $7 million project lasting years, and scheduled to complete just this year.
Therefore the most logical reason, absent obvious foul play, is a "construction accident."
FoxNews and most other nets treated it as such:
Given the scope of the renovations, it is quite likely a "welding spark ignited paint thinner" or any other cause widely speculated in media reports, that can typically occur on a busy construction site.
But there's just one big problem with that.
Two hours after the spire collapsed, French-Greek journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis reported that there were no construction workers onsite at the time of the fire:

Possible, but over 50 incidents of desecrating Christian and Jewish churches, Synagogues and crosses in France in February is a strong indicator of muzzlim activity given that that some muzzies were caught before they torched the cathedral once before.
This is not a unique fire as many Catholic Churches have burned or suffered attacks in recent months. Another Paris church was victim on Saturday. In that context it is no wonder that prosecutors are treating it as an accident “for now”. What if it turns out to be just the latest of a string of attacks on churches?
Evidence has to precede a determination of a cause. I don’t think that we have any evidence yet. Media reports and cockamamia stories are equally useless.
What was the source of this photo?
If there are two possibilities and the French government and American fake news agree on one, Ill assume the other is correct.
Dont they have security to check backpacks?
When the fireman arrived they saw the enormity of the fire and tried to surrender.
...bigger than that...imagine for a minute what France would look like if it was proven a Jihadi did it...no way can they let that happen.
The whole world seems to be on fire right now, but it all takes place under Divine Providence. It will probably be a very different world when it’s all over.
The destruction of New York’s Twin Towers struck at the heart of New York City. The destruction of Notre Dame strikes at the heart of France itself.
Their response seems limited as well. I was surprised to see so few fire trucks and working water sources in the news photographs. In the USA there would be dozens of trucks and hose lines in action.
No construction workers on the scene...
FIrst, this is France. Most workers, even construction workers, work like 3 hours a day because who needs to work 40 hours a week. It’s a laissez-faire attitude in France. Okay, 3 hours might be an understatement but an 8 hour day in France is rare. We say FRance we are talking 10 weeks of vacation and 35 hour work weeks. There is no way a construction worker is going to be onsite with a 35 hour work at 6 PM in Paris. Heck, I was rarely at work at 6 PM or was anyone I worked with at work at 6 PM local time. Unless there is multiple shifts, there would not be workers onsite at 6 PM on a Monday anywhere in the USA, much alone Paris, France. So those thinking there should have been construction workers onsite at the time of the fire is hogwash.
Dont get me wrong, Im not defending Muslims, but a couple of laughing Muslims isnt exactly proof that the fire was arson.

True that. But it is a bit of evidence that the fire is causing some JOY in those particular Muslims.
It sure is.
Notre Dame. The "Our Lady" is Mary [mother of Jesus]... Miriam.
Today in Jewish History:
Miriam's Passing (1274 BCE)
Miriam, the sister of Moses, passed away at the age of 126 on the 10th of Nissan of the year 2487 from creation (1274 BCE) -- 39 years after the Exodus and exactly one year before the Children of Israel entered the Holy Land. It is in deference to her passing that the "Great Shabbat" is commemorated on the Shabbat before Passover rather than the calendar date of the miracle's occurence, Nissan 10.https://www.chabad.org/calendar/view/day.asp?tdate=4/15/2019
Ignoring the facts of the last 50 years would likewise be oh so silly.
Before the first tower fell in Manhattan Osamas name was already being bandied about. I will not be surprised at all if Al Qaeda isnt behind this.
Sorry, typo. I meant to ping you to #55.
Yes thy WILL rebuild it.
I also don't believe in coincidence....
16 Bronze statues were removed from the Cathedral just days before.
