On Monday, the world reacted in horror as the nearly 900-year old Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was nearly completely destroyed by fire.
Horrific flames quickly engulfed the entire core structure, and after 2 hours, the iconic spire collapsed, along with most of the roof and its 210 tons of lead.
That's what we know.
Here's what we don't: What caused it?
Well the media seems to have focused on one reason, and one reason only: the cathedral was "under construction" -- a reported $7 million project lasting years, and scheduled to complete just this year.
Therefore the most logical reason, absent obvious foul play, is a "construction accident."
FoxNews and most other nets treated it as such:
Given the scope of the renovations, it is quite likely a "welding spark ignited paint thinner" or any other cause widely speculated in media reports, that can typically occur on a busy construction site.
But there's just one big problem with that.
Two hours after the spire collapsed, French-Greek journalist Sotiri Dimpinoudis reported that there were no construction workers onsite at the time of the fire:

They won’t be rebuilding the church. The muslims wouldn’t stand for it.
Quite possible — but that risk is well-known and usually guarded against.
If someone is smearing excrement in the churches, they have the DNA, yes?
I’m told the fire brigade took 47 minutes to reach the fire.
Does he work for CNN? Aw heck, give him a Pulitzer, he deserves if for his breaking news..........Sheesh!
The county courthouse almost caught fire this past Thanksgiving. The contractor was working nights and the spark from the welding torch went in between the expansion joint between two building and slowly smoldered for 2 days before it was discovered in-time to extinguish it before it actually ignited into open flame. As we were walking into the building, we could see a small wisp of smoke but it was near by where the boiler vents and no one paid it any attention. Then within 20 minutes it triggered the smoke alarms.
Probably phony but they DO celebrate such things as taking chisels, sledgehammers, power jackhammers and dynamite and destroying priceless archaeological statues and relics for anything created prior to the starts of Islam.
Terrible images even Ancient Aliens show had to feature (”irreplaceable evidence perishes with cultural and historical relics destroyed.” )
Arson investigations are completed in less than a day?
It’s been a while since Big Media rushed to call a terrorist attack an accident....
I also remember BF Media immediately telling us all NOVEMBER 2011 was an accident.
Most really, really want to believe what Big Media sells.
Smell comes first...
No, the fire was obviously God’s will
The faith had been deserted
NOVEMBER 2001 in NY
That is not a meme, but a iPhone caption from the person who filmed the Saint-Sulpice fire on March 17th
How could they not have a modern plan to stop the fire, even with planes and helicopters like the wildfire chemical drops?
Did their horses jog so fast over the cobblestones that the water in the buckets kept splashing out?/s
And just last week I caught a skunk in my live trap that was living under my back deck.
Too strange to think that all these events are mere coincidence. Something smells...........
If muzzies didn’t actually do it, they are rejoicing over it all over the internet.
Let’s see if THAT story gets told!
(crickets)
Always default to Muslim terrorism until proven otherwise.
One would have to be fully mentally incapable to do something such as that.
I agree. And it's not a conspiracy that we don't yet know what caused it. Such an investigation could take weeks.
Has any terrorist organization taken responsibility? It would be unusual for such a massive historical loss to be terrorism if no one is claiming responsibility.
