No construction workers on the scene...

FIrst, this is France. Most workers, even construction workers, work like 3 hours a day because who needs to work 40 hours a week. It’s a laissez-faire attitude in France. Okay, 3 hours might be an understatement but an 8 hour day in France is rare. We say FRance we are talking 10 weeks of vacation and 35 hour work weeks. There is no way a construction worker is going to be onsite with a 35 hour work at 6 PM in Paris. Heck, I was rarely at work at 6 PM or was anyone I worked with at work at 6 PM local time. Unless there is multiple shifts, there would not be workers onsite at 6 PM on a Monday anywhere in the USA, much alone Paris, France. So those thinking there should have been construction workers onsite at the time of the fire is hogwash.
