Cardinal Dolan sitting elephant-like on Christian hearts and souls, will NEVER excommunicate his buddy Gov. Cuomo
“Please never use the word weigh in when I come on, I’ve asked you to avoid that,” portly Cardinal Timothy Dolan, head of the archdiocese of New York, told Brian Kilmeade in yesterday’s interview on Fox & Friends.
For Christian pro-lifers still reeling in shock that Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law new rules that permit babies to be aborted up to the day of birth, Dolan is an elephant sitting on their hearts and souls.
“When asked whether New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) should be formally excommunicated from the Catholic Church because he signed into law new rules that permit babies to be aborted up to the day of birth—what one bishop has called “infanticide”—New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan said such a step “would be counterproductive.” It would give “ammo to our enemies,” he added. Since he's not willing to take a stand on the most extreme abortion law possible, one is left to beleive that the enemies he's worried about giving ammo to are traditional Catholics who have been taught forever that abortion is wrong at any time. In other words, he aint one of them and in the age of Francis most bishops and Cardinals aren't.
Yep, the church should be ranting and raving over this, but instead they duck and cover.

By the way, I tend to beleive that New York put this law in place because the dens wants the predictable drawn out court challenge that will define an issue for their 2020 “war on women” narrative. These are babies that would be normal full term babies if it were delivered via C-section instead of chopped up and ripped out in pieces that same day. But that’s not what they’ll say. It will be the traditional “Trump and the far extremist right want women to have to go to back alleys and coat hangers, they hate you and you’re right to choose”
Dolan is one of the worst and has been for a long time.

I agree. They had to make a display and Cuomo knew it. Nothing will be done because they are “scratching each others back”!
If Andrew Cuomo can be considered a Catholic, is there even a reason for the Catholic Church to exist at this time? I am lamenting this question, not attacking good Catholics in asking this.

The only difference it would make, I imagine, to Cuomo would be his being turned away at the altar during some publicized funeral or wedding during which he would go up excommunicated or not the only time he would attempt
But such priest or fake priest would have been prearranged to administer communion
The difference it would make to Jesus would be tremendous. It would further the effort to eliminate abortion led by the Church and would eliminate the abject frustration surrounding mystery as to why the cardinal fails in his God given duty to excommunicate this public and actual supporter of birth control and abortion

Dolan is MUCH more enamored with the world than he is with the church. Classic ear scratcher.
