Since he's not willing to take a stand on the most extreme abortion law possible, one is left to beleive that the enemies he's worried about giving ammo to are traditional Catholics who have been taught forever that abortion is wrong at any time. In other words, he aint one of them and in the age of Francis most bishops and Cardinals aren't.
